Corey Edge is the owner of Edge Luxury Motorsports. He acts as if he's a reputable auto broker/dealer. He asked for a deposit in order to secure a car once my selection had been made. When he couldn't find me the car I wanted I decided to look for another dealer.
When I asked for my deposit back he could not give me back the total amount I paid because he'd used the money elsewhere. I agreed to let him pay me back in installments. In the process of looking for another car I contacted a dealer that had the same kind of car Corey had advertised as his car.
When I visited the new dealer I found out that the car I spoke to Corey about was the same exact car that Atlanta Auto Brokers had on their lot but it was $1200 cheaper than what Corey quoted. When they looked into it, they found out that Corey was advertising cars from their lot, and that happens to be very illegal.
He was stealing pictures from their website and emailing them to clients, same mileage, same vin number, everything.
When I asked for the remaining balace of my deposity Corey says that he bought the car that I was interested in and I could not get my deposit back. He was obviously lying because I actually bought the car from Atlanta Auto Brokers. They also informed me that this was not the 1st time that he has been caught advertising and trying to sell cars that do not belong to Edge Luxury Motorsports. He will not answer my calls or return texts. We will be taking him small claims court.
