I was cleverly manipulated by this company Ecycle best. I did not get my payment in time. I have seen many complaints on internet about its bad reputation. People have been suffered from low payments, bait & switch situations, and other issues of non-cooperation from customer services. I came to know about this company and its services by my best-friend. That’s why I did not do research about its authenticity. I had my black Nokia cell phone in a best condition. I was going to buy an iphone-5S. I needed an extra amount of money for new iphone. I called ecycle best and I had to wait 40 minutes during my call-transferring to purchasing department. I told the quoted price $150 to the purchasing department. The customer agent started to tell me about the terms and conditions of the company. I listened all the T&C of the company. It also cleared my mind about the inspection procedure of the company. I received an email after 6 days about the inspection. It clearly stated that my Nokia mobile was in average condition. The offered price was $80 mentioned in the email. I replied with “offer-rejected” from my side. The purchasing department called me that they cannot return my mobile phone. I was shocked and I asked why? They just told me that my mobile was already sent for recycling. At that moment, I was feeling very bad as I had lost my mobile phone. I disconnected the call. I am an experienced businessman. I am in the business of import-export of reconditioned laptops. I decided to sell out the 20 pieces of refurbished laptops to eCycle Best. I was expecting to get the reasonable amount of cash in return. I spent a whole day in checking the online quoted-prices of each laptop. The total quoted price of 20 laptops was estimated around $3700. I had been heard many rumors about the company eCycle Best. After looking through the internet, I became worried about its credibility. I called the eCycle Best customer services. I was welcomed joyfully by the customer agent. My call was then transferred to the purchasing department for further communication. After getting complete information, I did not have any apprehension about the company. The purchasing department also told me about the inspection procedure. After the company inspected my laptops, then, I would be given the final offered price. I did not know that the inspection process would take 3 days. I was just waiting for my payment through check. Meanwhile, I had to move outside the country for a business trip for 2 weeks. When I returned back, my check was already received at my home. The check was of $2270. It made me anxious. I called the eCycle Best company and asked for such a lower offered price. They informed me about the inspection email that was sent one week before. As per company’s terms & conditions, I could only contact in 5 days after the inspection email. It was a bullshit rule. Also, I was not informed about it in the start. I was too late. I could not be able to get my laptops back. The company should have also called me on my mobile number after inspection. The company played the deceptiveness and did not inform me through a call. Instead of profit, I had to bear the loss in selling out of my 20 laptops to this cheap company.

One month ago, I visited the website of company eCycle Best. I decided to sell out my laptop. My laptop was worth $250 according to its condition, and technical specifications. I checked the quoted price through company’s online estimation-system. I found the best quoted-price $300, for my laptop. I instantly called my best friend. I asked him about the company reputation because I found the excellent customers’ reviews on the company’s website. My friend suggested me to call the helpline of the company regarding the assessment of its authenticity. Promptly, I called the helpline and my call was transferred after half an hour to the purchasing department. A lady attended my call. She replied me how can I help you? I was impressed by her communication. She explained me the whole procedure. In fact, she guided me on a right track and also told me that I won't get $300 for this laptop. The website had some technical problem in the online price-estimation system. She further told me about the offered price $240 of my laptop as per its specs. I said okay and thank you to her. Then I thought that I should have taken a chance. I sent my laptop via free shipping box. I called again to confirm about my laptop receiving. The purchasing department confirmed me. Meanwhile, I also told the customer services’ representative about my PayPal account. The customer agent told me that the payment would be transferred within a week, but he was a big liar. I received cash in my PayPal account after 5 weeks. The company really agitated me regarding delaying of my payment. I had a huge grudge as they lied to me. Everyone, please be careful and do not send anything to this company for selling out.
eCycle Best quoted me $219 for my Factory Unlocked iPhone 5S.
They sent me a box for shipping. I boxed up my phone and sent it in. They advertise payment will be recieved in 5-10 days. After three weeks I left a message on thier website asking about payment. I never got an email conforation or any responce whatsoever.
Later I recieved a check for $36. Only 16% of my quoted payment. There was no letter of explination or anything.
My iPhone was in perfect condition. Fully functional, no scratches or cracks. It was less than a year old and looked like new.
eCycleBest does not respond to emails. I can find no phone number to call them.
Ecyclebest had quoted me $120 for my Broken iPad and gave me only $70. I refused their offer by email and didn't get any reply. When I called them, a lady on the phone mentioned that I needed to refuse it within the time frame of 5 days, as mentioned in their terms and conditions. So I was late in filling my request for refusal, but that does not mean that they had my permission to recycle it! I am very upset with them. I could get it fixed at a low price.
I was offered $130.00 for my Nokia Device on Ecyclebest.com site. I sent them my device and they e-mailed me that they will give the final quote after the inspection of my phone. After few days, I received a check of $70. I got mad and called them right away. They put me on hold for 5 minutes and then connected me to their purchasing department. Guy on the phone was very professional and listened to my whole problem. He explained me that there were some major scratches on the phone and it wasn't in a working condition. I knew there were some scratches but they were not noticeable.
Even, there was a minor problem with the power button but it used to work when I sent them. I've noticed that other people got bumped up offer on calling but in my case they didn't raise the price at all. I won't suggest to send any device to Ecyclebest .

This is a dishonest and scam company. They do not offer good customer services. We sent an ipad. The online quote was $180. Their offer after receiving my ipad became $70. They say you have 5 days to accept or reject their offer. We called on the third day to reject the offer. But I did not get my device back. I was told by their customer services that "your device was reviewed and has been processed; it no longer is available to be returned to you. What! Why! Tell me why you won't return it to me! I was ripped-off like many others. I will do everything I can to warn others from this place.

I did not agree on offered price. eCycle Best confirmed me that they were sending my laptop back to me. Three more days were gone but still I did not receive my laptop. I reminded ecycle Best again. I received $250 through PayPal. I was told that my laptop could not be returned. The company already recycled my laptop. It was my worst day of my life. The company did a practical joke with me. I was surprised and disturbed greatly by the duplicity. The company’s behavior was totally phony and swindling.
Ecyclebest offered me $124.00 for my laptops. I was informed via e-mail that I will receive a confirmation email after inspecting my Laptop; I knew that they will decrease the offer. I did not know that they will decrease the offer by this much amount. I was shocked when I received their check for only $80. I was so upset to see this! On calling their customer care service, I was asked to stay on hold for a bit. They, then, transferred my call to the purchasing department. I was on hold for 10 minutes. I talked to the manager directly and requested her to send my laptop back. She said that she can’t do anything about my laptop as it has already been processed for recycling.
By the end of it, I was left with no option, but to accept their offer. I felt so hapless. Don’t trust Ecyclebest!!
On 04-28-2015 I mailed my IPhone to easycyclebest expecting a check back for $93.00. After not receiving a check I called today, only to speak to a female talking head. (Probably paid less than minimum wage and an illegal.) The talking head girl told me they had unsucessfully tried to email me. That my phone was disposed of because I never emailed them back and I would not be receiving anything from them. Well I never received their emails and if they really wanted to contact me why didn't they call me. They did have my number! The girl refuse to let me speak to her supervisor, or that persons supervisor, or anyone other than her. GREAT customer service!!! DO NOT use this company -- they are CROOKS and LIAS!!!

We decided to sell-out our three used and old laptops. She was really excited on that day because of the good quotes of laptops on company’s official website. She insisted me to make a call and ask for the complete procedure. I called the company eCycle Best helpline. I was guided and informed about the complete procedure by the purchasing department. We instantly packed our laptops and sent them to the company. We called them again after 1 day for the confirmation of shipping-box receiving. They confirmed us that they had got the three laptops. They also gave us a time of 2 weeks to wait for the payment. After one week, we checked our PayPal, but no payment was received. I called them again, and they told me that laptops were not working properly. The purchasing department offered us only $260 for three laptops instead of quoted price $450. I told him aggressively to return my laptops. I was no more interested in such a low offered price. Immediately, he was starting to instruct me about the company policy regarding terms and conditions. He told me that we had only 5 days to re-negotiate the offered price as per company’s terms and conditions. Currently, the company could not return the device back to you as it was too late. I sent my kindle fire HDX 7 in since they said I would get $106.00. They got my kindle and only gave me $15.00. I have also filed a complaint at the Better Business Bureau as well. Don't do any kind of business with this company, it's a scam.

Cashforberrys company is the biggest rip-off I have ever seen. I got an online quote of $175 for my Samsung Galaxy S6. When they inspected my phone, they offered me $120.00. I called and asked to have my phone back, and the lady says, "oh, I see your phone is worth more than $120.00, we will offer you $130.00". If I had not called to have the phone returned, it is a stipulation of the contract that I have accepted their initial offer of $120.00.

The business performance of cashforberrys is low and their process is nothing more than a trap. Don't be fooled and allured by the price they quote. They quoted me over $322 for two iPhones (different models) on their website - cashforberrys.com. Subsequent to sending both of them in, and waiting for a long time for an answer, they finally sent me a quote offering $89 for one device and $69 for the other. The customer executive I spoke to in their purchasing division was not customer friendly at all.

I sold my HTC phone to cashforipads. My phone was new and had no scratches on it. Cashforipads quoted me a higher price than the other companies. They quoted me a price of 115 dollars. After 1 week, they emailed me saying that they were going to deposit 78 dollars in my PayPal account. I called them and told them that I want my phone back or at least the actual quoted price.

Cashforipads offers high prices for the sale of your used cell phone, laptop, ipad, etc. Their terms indicate that once your device is received, they will inspect it and contact you to let you know if they will pay the original quote or less, depending on the condition of your device. They will have a string of reasons to explain why the offer they are making is much lesser. Don’t believe them one bit! None of it is true.The worst part is trying to get your device back, which is absolutely impossible.
Just being able to talk to someone at the customer service is like a whole adventure on its own. Waiting through the 40 minutes hold time, just to be hung up on, is no fun at all. To avoid all the frustration, simply avoid dealing with them.

That phone was in PERFECT CONDITION and had in fact only been used for a couple of months before I replaced it. They refused to return my phone claiming that it had been processed and they no longer had it.

Since they weren't returning my calls, I decided to search online for an alternative. Good thing I saw their Facebook was active and somebody replied to my messages. I bombarded them with messages. Made sure I sent the message that I was their top customer. It worked! Someone called me up ASAP!
You just have to make their butt spinning to make things happen!
These are the three websites that are good in quoting high prices and at the end, leave their customers with maybe 20% (if you're lucky) of the actual quoted amount. Their customer service is bad! If you do end up dealing with them, do not expect to get someone to help you right away. You have to claim your spot by first going through their very long hold time, then getting transferred between departments and finally get hung up on.

I sent them a very heartfelt email right away declining their offer and demanding my phone be sent back to me immediately. No reply. You're supposedly given 3 days to decline the offer, which I did, but I knew right then and there that I wasn't getting more than the $11. Still, I was too outraged to cease fire.
I called approximately a billion times and sent a thousand emails, and when I finally reached a human being, I was able to yell my way to $140. I knew not to expect to receive the initial quote, and $130 wasn't too far off what I had anticipated, so I took it.
Their initial offers are complete bull and their customer service is shit. Bottom line is I got a decent amount of money from eCycle Best, but I wouldn't have if I hadn't been persistent.

COMPLETE SCAM. Ecyclebest is a complete scam. They quoted me $200 for my iPhone 5 and then, paid me only $75.00. I never received an email notifying me of the price difference. When I called their supposedly "Customer Service", they claimed that it must have gone to my spam folder.

People have been suffered from low payments, bait & switch situations, and other issues of non-cooperation from customer services. I came to know about this company and its services by my best-friend. That’s why I did not do research about its authenticity. I had my black Nokia cell phone in a best condition. I was going to buy an iphone-5S. I needed an extra amount of money for new iphone. I called ecycle best and I had to wait 40 minutes during my call-transferring to purchasing department. I told the quoted price $150 to the purchasing department. The customer agent started to tell me about the terms and conditions of the company. I listened all the T&C of the company. It also cleared my mind about the inspection procedure of the company. I received an email after 6 days about the inspection. It clearly stated that my Nokia mobile was in average condition. The total quoted price of 20 laptops was estimated around $3700. I had been heard many rumors about the company eCycle Best. After looking through the internet, I became worried about its credibility. I called the eCycle Best customer services. I was welcomed joyfully by the customer agent. My call was then transferred to the purchasing department for further communication. After getting complete information, I did not have any apprehension about the company. The purchasing department also told me about the inspection procedure. After the company inspected my laptops, then, I would be given the final offered price. I did not know that the inspection process would take 3 days. I was just waiting for my payment through check. Meanwhile, I had to move outside the country for a business trip for 2 weeks. When I returned back, my check was already received at my home. The check was of $2270. It made me anxious. I called the eCycle Best company and asked for such a lower offered price. They informed me about the inspection email that was sent one week before. As per company’s terms & conditions, I could only contact in 5 days after the inspection email. It was a bullshit rule. Also, I was not informed about it in the start. I was too late. I could not be able to get my laptops back. The company should have also called me on my mobile number after inspection. Promptly, I called the helpline and my call was transferred after half an hour to the purchasing department. A lady attended my call. She replied me how can I help you? I was impressed by her communication. She explained me the whole procedure. In fact, she guided me on a right track and also told me that I won't get $300 for this laptop. The website had some technical problem in the online price-estimation system. She further told me about the offered price $240 of my laptop as per its specs. I said okay and thank you to her. They sent me a box for shipping. I boxed up my phone and sent it in. They advertise payment will be recieved in 5-10 days. After three weeks I left a message on thier website asking about payment. I never got an email conforation or any responce whatsoever.
Later I recieved a check for $36. Only 16% of my quoted payment. There was no letter of explination or anything.
My iPhone was in perfect condition. Fully functional, no scratches or cracks. It was less than a year old and looked like new.

I sold my HTC phone to cashforipads. My phone was new and had no scratches on it. Cashforipads quoted me a higher price than the other companies. They quoted me a price of 115 dollars. After 1 week, they emailed me saying that they were going to deposit 78 dollars in my PayPal account. I called them and told them that I want my phone back or at least the actual quoted price.

Cashforipads offers high prices for the sale of your used cell phone, laptop, ipad, etc. Their terms indicate that once your device is received, they will inspect it and contact you to let you know if they will pay the original quote or less, depending on the condition of your device. They will have a string of reasons to explain why the offer they are making is much lesser. Don’t believe them one bit! None of it is true.The worst part is trying to get your device back, which is absolutely impossible.
Just being able to talk to someone at the customer service is like a whole adventure on its own. Waiting through the 40 minutes hold time, just to be hung up on, is no fun at all. To avoid all the frustration, simply avoid dealing with them.

It had been in an Otter case since the day I bought it and had no scratches on it.I decided to sell to them since they quoted me a higher price than the other compainies had. They quoted me a price of 103 dollars. After 2 weeks, they emailed me saying that they were going to deposit 40 dollars in my PayPal account.I am going to call them and tell them that I want my phone back or at least the actual quoted price.
If neither happens, I will let the world know my case and recommend no one use them. Cashforapples, Ecyclebest , cash for laptops.com , cashforiphone are dishonest companies.
Call Waiting seems to be forever!
I went to eCycle Best to cash in my iPhone 5C. After a week, they called me up and told me I was paid 50 dollars via PayPal. I remembered the initial quote to me was 150 dollars. I got so mad and called them up. They always hung up my call!

The process was very simple. But when I sent my MacBook to eCycleBest, it was a long wait. It took them three weeks to get back to me! But I guess this is just how most of the online recycling companies conduct their businesses!

eCycleBest has a slow customer service! I contacted them several times and they only responded when I ranted on their Facebook page. Fortunately somebody took head, probably one of the customer reps. After so much negotiation, I agreed to a 40 dollar for my old iPhone 4. I should have gotten more but I think this is only much what I would be getting from them!
I will try another service next time!
Okay with eCycleBest, Just Bombard them with a lot of Calls.
I did a transaction with eCycle Best once last year and the experience played out really well. It is true that they're kind of slow in responding calls and waiting was stretched for ages. Since they weren't returning my calls, I decided to search online for an alternative. Good thing I saw their Facebook was active and somebody replied to my messages. I bombarded them with messages. Made sure I sent the message that I was their top customer. It worked! Someone called me up ASAP!
You just have to make their butt spinning to make things happen!
These are the three websites that are good in quoting high prices and at the end, leave their customers with maybe 20% (if you're lucky) of the actual quoted amount. Their customer service is bad! If you do end up dealing with them, do not expect to get someone to help you right away. You have to claim your spot by first going through their very long hold time, then getting transferred between departments and finally get hung up on.
If you found yourself in this situation, just know that it will not be pleasant.
Got a $303.00 quote for my 4th Gen Ipad. Cash For Smartphones then informed me that they will give me $105 for it.Now I can't get in touch with anyone at Cash For Smartphones to ask for my Ipad back.
They are scammers and totally bogus. I don't know what they have done with my Ipad and am desperately trying to get it back, or at least the money for it! Hoping that no one would ever fall prey to these scammers.

So I was looking to sell my iPhone 5 and I found these clowns. They had the best quote I came across while searching, so I went with them. Sent them my phone, waited about 50 years, then finally received $11 in my PayPayl account. $11 after getting an estimate of $175. I sent them a very heartfelt email right away declining their offer and demanding my phone be sent back to me immediately. No reply. You're supposedly given 3 days to decline the offer, which I did, but I knew right then and there that I wasn't getting more than the $11. Still, I was too outraged to cease fire.
I called approximately a billion times and sent a thousand emails, and when I finally reached a human being, I was able to yell my way to $140. I knew not to expect to receive the initial quote, and $130 wasn't too far off what I had anticipated, so I took it.
Their initial offers are complete bull and their customer service is shit. Bottom line is I got a decent amount of money from eCycle Best, but I wouldn't have if I hadn't been persistent.
The business practices of ecyclebest are underhanded and their process is nothing more than a bait and switch. Don't be fooled and allured by the price they quote on their website before you send them your device. They quoted me over $300 for two iPhones (different models) on their ecyclebest.com.
After sending both of them in, and waiting for a long time for a reply, they finally sent me a quote offering $73 for one device and $46 for the other. The person I spoke to in their purchasing department was not customer friendly, argumentative and hung up on me before the call was completed.

COMPLETE SCAM. Ecyclebest is a complete scam. They quoted me $200 for my iPhone 5 and then, paid me only $75.00. I never received an email notifying me of the price difference. When I called their supposedly "Customer Service", they claimed that it must have gone to my spam folder.
When I argued that they had stolen my phone, the person said, "Well, if you're not going to be reasonable, I am going to hang up. Have a nice day." And with that, she just hung up. I am pretty annoyed!

They don't return emails, and it takes long time to get to them...Just spend 5 minutes looking on the websites and you won't believe how these websites can do business...
