As an outsider looking in, all this customer spoke about drinking and partying! This patio cover was being built during March 2014! Pull the weather for Houston/Harris County/Friendswood! It rained almost all month. The was no partner named Jim. There was a contract employee who began to Speak ill of Chuck and his company! Come to find out this employee talked the customer into completing it! I think Roger needs to read the small print on his contract! The fact is that Roger Mills and his wife Connie Mills watched too muck DIY, wanted to pay less and have it complete sooner, so they went with a worker from Economy Restoration.
In closing I would like anyone who comes in contact with especially Roger Mills. There was an incident a few days ago when my son 15, who lives and breathes military, Coast Guard especially, Roger followed us to a fast food place and began verbally harassing us with my son and 2 friends in the vehicle! Told me "good luck with ever getting your son in the coast guard, get roll models"! I consider this the lowest form of scum to verbally harass a 15 year old?

We had worked with Economy Restoration in the past with no major problems. This time however was different. We were in the process of getting estimates to have an outdoor patio built which included an estimate from Economy Restoration. When we told Mr. Chuck Young that we were going with another company, he pleaded with us to let him have the job.
According to him he was going through a divorce and really needed the money. Out of compassion for him we awarded him the job. Chuck Young told me a guy named Jim was his patio guy so they would be working together. I made clear to Chuck since I lived in a community with a HOA, I needed to ensure he obtained all the necessary building permits which he promised he would.
Lets just say the first week went relatively well with the exception of the slab being poured to the incorrect dimensions. Chucks partner Jim came by and started the construction however shortly after that all construction had stopped. Chuck was never available and failed to follow through with any of his promises or timelines.
During this process I received numerous calls from his partner Jim asking me if I've seen Chuck. According to Jim, Chuck was supposed to get materials and coordinate the project but he could never locate Chuck. I called Chuck numerous times and was always promised that his crew would show up in which they never did. I caught Chuck Young in countless lies from everything from obtaining permits to him contacting subs. Long story short, after 6 weeks of no work and the exterior of my home open to the environment (caused water damage to the interior of my home. I had no choice but to fire Chuck Young.
In closing, this is the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. Chuck Young is a smooth talker and will promise the world. I found out the hard way theres too many honest contractors to take a chance on Economy Restoration.
