I contacted this company through the Northeast Times, a local paper. His ad was in the classified section an d looked legit enough since it was a large ad with info about their services. I called and the proprietor, Kris, said he would come over the next day, Monday , at approx. 10 am. He did not get here until after 5 pm using the excuse of bad weather and traffic. I gave him the benefit of the doubt since he diagnosed our heater problem very quickly , but said he had to order the part which could be gotten there overnight, but I would have to pay him half upfront for the job.I gave him a check for $240, which he immediately cashed, I chcked my bank statement online. Well, needless to say, 2 days elapsed and I did not hear from him so I called him and he answered and said the part came in but he was so busy. But that he would be there that evening around 5 pm to install it. Again, a no show, no call. I left him many messages asking him to please return my money so I could get the heater fixed from someone who wanted the job. I've called the police wo said I have to dial 911 to have an officer come out to my house to take my complaint. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. But other than that, I just don't know what to do. I can't believe these guys just can steal your money, and basically rob you, but we citizens have no rights.
