I saw the ad for " Dutch Glow" on TV, & decided to order 1 bottle for $10 plus shipping & handling. I went to their website & placed an order at which point I had to enter my credit dard information, which I did. I was repeatedly asked to buy various other items, such as a mitt, polishing cloth, etc. I didn't want any of these, so I repeatedly clicked " no thanks," to no avail. I finaly just logged off & didn't think I had placed the order, but this a.m. I found that they had billed my credit card for $27.90. This is definitely fraud. I filled out an FTC report but the final page said " we're sorry, but we cannot accept information, as the website is not functioning." Our Government in action
Dutch Glow Amish Wood Milk appears to be a quality product based on the demonstraion in their television commercial. I ordered a bottle plus a "free" second bottle.
The web order form didn't allow corrections and the order was doubled for a total of four bottles (2 @ $10 each + 2 "free" bottles). Shipping and handling is supposed to be $7.95 but they don't tell you it's $7.95 per bottle until you get to the invoice.
Here's the invoice:
1 DUTCH GLOW AMISH WOOD MILK PLUS FREE TOWEL $10.00 PLUS $7.95 S&P $17.95
What appeared to be a $17.95 order became a $53.80 including $31.90 for S&P plus a $2.00 web surcharge fee. The order became $53.80. Interestingly, all 4 bottles were sent in the same box. I called again and was advised I could return the box IF IT WAS UNOPENED and receive a full refund. That's exactly what I'm doing.
