Where do I begin? This man should not be allowed to be in business any longer-parents be ware!
He is extremely difficult to get a hold of and then extremely rude when you finally get to speak with him. It took me over 3 weeks to finally talk to him to schedule my son's 2nd lesson, and when I mentioned how hard it was to get a hold of him, he was extremely defensive, called me names, questioned my parenting, and continued to yell over me-he would not listen to a word I said. When I asked if I could go ahead and schedule his 3rd lesson for 3-4 weeks later, he refused and claimed some law says the lessons have to be spread out 2 months apart and over the 6 months-this is a lie. No such law exists-I called the DMV licensing department myself. As a paying customer and a parent, I have the right to schedule my son's appointments for when I see fit-I could schedule them 3 days in a row if I wanted to. That's MY choice-and if I want to take that chance with my sons ans sign legal documents that say he drove the required amount-than I can do that! Kevin continually belittled me, called me a bad parent, and yelled at me that I don't know CA laws. I do know that I have 2 other children already driving and their driving school did not have such a policy and told me no such law exists.
He has horrible customer service which is very unprofessional. But he doesn't care because he already got my money, right? He also claims no refunds, according to the contract, but I never signed a contract and therefore I will be pushing back as far as I have to to get my money back. He insulted me over and over again and I refuse to do business with someone like this-and I will NEVER allow my son to be in the same car as him. On my son's first lesson-the first time he had ever even driven a car- this man took him on the freeway, had him stop at Jamba Juice so he could get a snack, and made and took phone calls on his cell while he was supposed to be attending to my son. I was horrified to find this out-and to think, he's probably doing this to everyone's children-putting them in jeopardy! Never again, Kevin-you do business in a manner that is so unprofessional but more importantly, dangerous, and I will do everything in my power to stop you. I have already complained to the BBB, the DMV, and I have an attorney ready to go. It is in your best interest to give me my money back. You think that these other parents and I are "bully parents"-you are wrong. We just want what we paid for-is it too much to ask that you call us back and actually speak to us like we're decent human beings? And to ask that you actually pay attention when our kids are driving? I don't think so.
He is also taking cash under the table- $10 each lesson in cash for "gas". Like I said, BEWARE.
