I ordered a custom wedding dress with correct measurements. It took about 6 weeks to receive the dress. The dress was too small, made 2 inches smaller in the hips than the measurement I sent. The vendor refused to refund my money, citing it is common to have an inch deviation because this is a handmade item. My dress was made two inches smaller. The only offer of resolution was to offer me first a discount on a future order, second, a 10% refund and take the dress to a local tailor to have it "fixed" at my own expense. Hardly a resolution. The company's website does not disclose that their standard deviation is +/- 1 inch. Had they I would have compensated for that in the measurements I provided. They managed to get every measurement spot on except the hips. I could not zip it up. Of course it is now more than 45 days after I placed the order so PayPal won't assist. Stay away from this company. They have no ethics and don't care about their customers.
I ordered a formal dress with both custom measurements and according to the size chart provided.
I did recieve the dress in a timely fashion but it came no where near being the correct size. It was several inches too small in several places and if you match the measurements of the dress to their size chart, the dress would be three different sizes. One size in the bust, another in the waist and yet another in the hips. It was really all over the place and unalterable for me to be able to wear.
They did respond to my emails several times but each time placed the blame on me, refused to correct the dress and even suggested that I spend even more money to take a ""custom made"" dress to a local seamstress for alterations.
I wish I had known about the Ripoff Report, I never would have placed that order. I also had no idea, based on the website that this company is actually in China. When I recieved the package, the return address was China.
So beware! The site looks intriguing and the prices are great. However, I lost $200 on this dress and had to spend more to purchase another dress for my event. Do Not Use This Site!!!
I told dress sales to return my money the same day I odered the dress after i was told that the dress would not be ready in time. I have not got my money back yet. My order still say processing. I recieved an email yesterday say please keep the order and we will give yoou 15% off. This should have been canceled 2 weeks agos.
