These are just some of the complaints that I have located on line regarding Dresslily.com. I have been ripped off by these scammers as well. This business needs to be stopped in their tracks immediately. Thieves and scammers are all they are and these complaints are validation.
Consumer from Arizona: I ordered a skirt from DressLily.com in mid January 2015 and now it's May and I have still not received it! It was 13 U.S. Dollars and I tried to get a refund but never did. Checked my email and apparently it was shipped from Hong Kong but the default payment was euros so I expected to be from the UK. I couldn't understand the tracking number since it was in mandarin?! On the tracking page I kept checking for several months and it just says "shipped" and there was no further progress. It was also payed through PayPal. Before that I order a pair of boots from there. Those took about 2-3 months but they actually came. The problem was that they reeked of leather and a hint of gasoline. I started to get suspicious of where they were being made. The biggest problem is that after I ordered the skirt (approx 1 week after) they was an alert on PayPal that someone deducted $211 from MY credit card.
The same one used to order from Dresslily. I believe the name was Zuzu or something, which sounds HIGHLY Asian, referring to the shipment from Hong Kong. I hope someone looks into this company, as this has happened to several other people. Dressily you should be immediately closed down. Thank you.
I was sceptical ordering items priced so low, the quality isn't the best, but the items arrived very quickly, the little black dress is actually stunning on and all in all I believe I got my monies worth.
I purchased a corset for my friend's birthday on 12/15/14. I didn't realize that it was coming from China until I received the shipping confirmaton. As of today I have not received the item and it is still shows that it was shipped to the US.
I ordered from this company almost two months ago, They immediately deducted the payment from my card but have never sent me my package. The tracking number they sent me does not even exist, I have searhed every mail carrier they provided me with, which was about six. I have done my research and many other customers never recieved any of their orders either. Please shut down these scammers.
What a scam. Wanted to return 5 out of 8 items. Wrong sizes, poor stitching, different color.
I am raising this complaint because dresslily is a disreputable website. This is another scam as it lures people to buying affordable clothes at subpar quality (dresslily and sammydress --- their clothes come from the same warehouse/location in China), recognizing that customers are powerless to return their items due to high prices. Dresslily also screens its negative feedback, which is how it lures new customers like me to purchase from them in bulk.
Escalate your claim to paypal!!! Received $50 back when I raised the claim.

First of all, I chose EXPEDITED shipping so my items will arrive within 3-5 business days but it arrived after a month!! Not only that, they will fool you into buying their items with their attractive pictures but the real items are so far, not even close to what it looks in the picture. Not only that, items are poorly made and defective. Hanging cheap buttons, broken parts, hanging threads, materials are like disposables, smells awful (the smell made me sick) I almost fainted with its unusual smell (like it has a poisonous substance on it), etc. Oh goodness this was so far the greatest mistake I've ever done, buying on this site. Awful items, awful customer service! I tried contacting them several times but all I got was like an automated response. It was not even about my concern, not at all addressed my issue. Oh terrible experience. I just don't now how to report this site to the proper authority. And mayso so as the rest of their victims that's why til now, they are still on, continuously victimizing other innocent consumers. Don't be one. I just hope I can let everyone now about this site. I felt so terrible that I wasted my hard earned money on this scam dresslily.com site. Don't be a victim.
