Dr. Amelia Orduna-Coe, DDS aka Dr. Coe has put me through so much. She installed my braces incorrectly which caused my overbite to worsen. The reason I found out was because in the middle of my treatment she decides to tell me that she’s "moving to Tennessee" with her husband and that I would have to look for someone to continue my treatment with.
After 3 months of absolutely no treatment I came across an amazing professional Ortho, Dr. Brodsky, which agreed to take over my case due to the extremely poor quality of work and treatment I encountered with Dr. Coe. He had no choice but to remove my braces completely, he also took new x-rays and a new molding was done. It was extremely painful when he was removing the old braces due to globs of glue attached to my teeth. He explained to me that the 13 months that I had the braces installed was as if I didn’t have them on because it didn’t help me AT ALL, it actually worsened my overbite.
I was livid to know that my treatment would be for 2+ more years, which meant that one entire year was worthless so instead of only keeping my braces on for 12-18 months I will have to keep them on for a total of 37 months.
She refused to give me the money I paid her. She’s a licensed con artist. I have also submitted a complaint to the Dental Board of CA.
This woman and her sisters, husband and relatives are running a fradulent business, she claims to be an Orthodontist. Please stay away from Smile Factory or Tustin Dental and any dentistry associated with this criminal.
