Stanley Stewart said he has an engineers degree from Texas A&M and says he is an army veteran. He can tackle any job, large or small. He also painted a house down the street.
I contracted him to paint the exterior of my house, stairs and decks. He stretched the job out for months, showing up and then leaving for the day to get supplies or a draw on the next job. He would show only sometimes when he said he would. At one point he did not show up for a week nor call because he says he was in jail in Mississippi. He will no longer answer my calls, emails and text messages to finish the job. Paint has bubbled up on the decks and steps and there are "missed" areas.
The bubbling occured immediately after appling a product he says he a used dozens of times with no problems due to the prep he put into the surfaces. He later said he never warrenteed the product (Restore from Lowes). He also said that he walked on it too soon and shouldn't have applied it before it rained.
Just guessing that he has about $700 left of work in this which equals the early draw he took. I know I shouldn't have paid him, but he was in high panic between begging and tears. I coulsn't let down a fellow vet, yet he had no problem ripping off and vet and a women.
