I ordered a heated scarf from Dotzila when Living Social offered a voucher for the item. I immediately took my voucher number SCAAHCFCWK and paid an additional shipping cost to get the scarf for my daughter for Christmas. I place this order on December 6th, 2014. It was supposed to ship immediately. It is Dec. 23rd and I have not heard from the company. I went on the link that Living Social provided to this company but the link was not operational. I am disappointed I can not give this unique gift to my daughter but more importantly I want to make sure my credit card was not charged or misused by a third party person.
I ordered six iPhone5 charger cables from Dotzila in mid January. They charged my credit card for this transaction on 1/20. They did not fulfill the order for TWO months (this in itself is a violation). When we finally received the charger cables, the quality was abysmal. ALL of our iPhone5s show the same error message ""device not supported by accessory"". Sometimes that cables will charge for a little while, but invariably the message appears. They are not reliable.
When I emailed Dotzila to voice my complaint, I kind of got the run-around - everything from ask my order number (which was in the header of the email!) to providing ridiculous advice about my battery case (iPhones don't have a 'battery case'). They finally said to return the cables, but I would have to pay shipping. I should not have to spend ANY of my money on a product that is unreliable or shoddily produced. I am disputing the charges on my credit card and I have informed my credit card company of this 'scam'.
Purchase what was advertised to be kickstand battery cases from Living Social. One for an iPhone 5s and one for an iPhone 4s.
Paid for and received voucher sending me to redeem the voucher at Dotzila and upon redemption had to pay another $5.99 each for shipping. Received about 3 weeks later.
iPhone 4s case did not have a kickstand as advertised and iPhone 5s case promptly melted around the charging area upon plug in.
I have attempted contact with Dotzila about a refund and have not received a reply. Just submitted a refund request to Living Social and awaiting a reply.
Living Social will only refund in credits for their other crap if they do agree to refund. Next stop is a complaint to PayPal.
