Very distasteful auctioner, lacks respect for bidders and makes crude jokes that are offensive. I was trying to bid on something, of course there is no runners in site, so I yelled, everyone looks at me but the auctioner? Either you need to hire people that can hear or people who aren't ignorant and trying to screw over people. It's one or the other. Why would you not accept my bid? I am trying to make you money but clearly you are scamming people with your own people bidding and you want them to win. The clerk kept bidding on items as well.
Tried bidding on something three times today and the auctioner ignored me and quickly sold it to some people he was talking to earlier in the day. Something is fishy about that. Had 1 runner because they are understaffed and aren't hiring anyone? But that guy was bidding on items and taking stuff inside to "put in the office" all day long. I don't get it. Also called peoples stuff "junk" and that they needed to "take their junk away" after they had won. Don't tell me what I bought is junk, and if I was selling something and I heard him call something junk that had to be sold because of a family emergency I would be very offended.
If you can't handle the auction professionally, you need new auctioners, the head auctioner I believe is the owner and he is the only guy that moves quickly, mostly respects people and can hear. Also need to move quicker, we probably went through 30 items in the matter of an hour. Shouldn't take 2 minutes per box lot. Quit trying to sell "junk" at 10 dollars when everything is going for 2-3. Start at 2 and work from there. Never coming back again. Will have to check allentown for auctions.
