I purchased 20 pair of reading glasses from dollar tree and thay said my receipt was in the bag when I got home there was no receipt! I called them immediately and they said they don't have it, I must have lost it. The glasses all broke in less then a few weeks! I always shop there and I ask to return the defective merchandize and Joe said I remember u, yes bring them down.
I did so today and he was there and he said his boss Lewis told him not to! I argued with lewis on the phone with no results!
I have been to several of their stores in the Clifton, New Jersey area. They are constantly blocking the aisles with storage carts and other objects. I walk with a cane and it's difficult for me to go through the aisles when blocked - it would be impossible for someone with a walker or wheelchair or other mobility assistance device to negotiate the aisles in the stores.
I have contacted them several times and explained to them that they are violating the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination as well as the federal Americans with Disabilities Act. I have even spoken to one of their attorneys. They do not seem to care that they are discriminating against the disabled.
A complaint is being filed with appropriate authorities, including the U.S. Attorney General's Office. If you are against discrimination, do not support this store by shopping there.
