I went to get car insurance at this location because it is very close to my house which I found convenient, that was the first reason. I was also in a need of car insurance a.s.a.p to I was pretty determined to walk out with what I needed, the basic and required by law type of insurance. I was very clear when I spoke to the Agent on what I wanted and need it. He agreed on everything I said and acted like that was exactly what I was getting, I trusted him and proceeded to sign everything. Last time I had insurance was back in 2009 so, I was aware that many laws have changed and that everything in general its getting more expensive, specially car insurance due to many scams. I paid $420.00 right then and there, the guy didn't act professional at all, he acted more like he hated his job but, I am not, at all a difficult type of customer so, i did not mind. I walked out and the next day, went through my policy to become familiar of everything just in case I get pulled over or into an accident, just to be up to date. To my surprise, I found out that he added many thing that were NOT required by law or have I requested. I went back, the day after that to ask him to explain it and he had the nastiest attitude towards me. And there I was, trying so hard to remain calm, I ended up asking him for a refund, to cancel my policy. He took a piece of paper and wrote ""found a better rate"" and asked me to sign it. Of course I did NOT sign it, instead I wrote my own explanation and he said he was going to fax it to Corporate but that my refund was NOT guaranteed. It had only been 3 days. That was very unfair to me. They ended up sending me a check 5 weeks later for $131.33. This company is a joke. Be aware, do your research (I wish I had), and dont waste your time or money with them. I am not the only one that has had this same experience with them, you could be their next victim, they are not trustworthy, honest and do not deserve YOUR money. They ripped me off!!!
