Purchase an auto waranty from direct buy, they took down a few hundred deposit and assigned a monthly premium, after paying monthly payments, I ran in to a car issue with my Gas gage and back door stop closing properly. had my car towed for service , during that time my payment was due I send in another payment.My mechanic contacted them they initiate a claim for me to process. when it was time to pay the mechanic I was told my claim was denied to non payment of premium , I told them that a payment was sent , than provided a proof of that payment to them they claimed it was not received.
The supervisor by the Name of George Thompson sarted being rude to me calling me a delinquent althought he has the proof in had showing payment have been sent three weeks ago. he got me so upset my blood presure rised. I asked to speak to above manager he claimed there was none while he was yelling . I called my bank and place him on a three way to confirmed it was sent to the same acct and adress thats its been sent ever month ,Wellsfago reps confirmed there were no changes to the automatic bill pay payment.
I requested an investigation to make sure payment was received. than requested a stop payment on that check since it was not cashed. I call direct auto waranty and made a another payment on my Visa. and the reps told me i should be in good now they should process the claim because thats all they needed. A lady called me 30 minutes later, explaining the procedure, i went over all with her and complaint about the supervisor yelling at me .I told her i made a payment to resolved the issue so my policy does not canceled and for the claim to be processed. she looked in her system saying she d not see it .
I offer to make a second and told her if both process they can either push one for next month or refund , she said no give it time until tomorow . 20 minutes later i received an email stated that i requested my policy to be canceled and its cuurently canceled and will not be re-activcate. There are no coverage they are not responsible for any prior claims . My bank sent me an email later on that day stating they have proof that Directbuywaranty did signed for the check they withold and never cash. what do you think about that?
well after ive done my research on them , ive notice they have been scamming their customers , now that i have a claim they rather find a way to cancel instead of provide coverage ,the slick way to denied is to pretent they never received payment .although i agree to pay missing payment .They are very unprofessional how do you lie and send a letter stating that i requested to cancel my policy when i did not?. how stupid could i be after investing so much already.
