I'm writing to you about Direct Alternatives at 551 Congress St, Portland ME. On the phone call I placed to them (at 800-605-1231 accepting their offer for 2 bottles of diet medication where you pay only for the shipping of $7.95. I read an article on Ripoff Report that this is a scam. The person who filed the report stated that there is no free weight loss pills and she was billed for them. Upon reading this I called their number to cancel at any time - the number is: 1-800-605-1231 (same as the number I used to place the order for Final Trim Weight Loss Pills. I told the girl who answerred the phone I was calling to cancel after reading a report made on RIPOFF REPORT and told her what it said. She told me "I was confused" and the recording didn't say the diet pills were free. I told her I know what I heard and wanted to cancel immediately. She said OK and was going to remove my name. (Numerous others have filed that this outfit is a SCAM!) I'm reporting this here because the initial call was to receive two free bottles of weight loss pills while paying just $7.95 for shipping and handling. This is a SCAM!!!!! And if I'm billed or sent the diet pills without removing the charge for what I cancelled 5 minutes after placing the order, I'll have record of it to show my bank. An alternative number found on the Internet for them is 207-773-3500, a Portland Me telephone number and exchange. I gave my credit card number to them when making the purchase
