I was called by DialAmerica on behalf of MADD because I have donated to their cause. I was told I could get a tremendous discount to PEOPLE magazine, or any other of my choosing. I was also told over 50% of what I paid for the magazine would go to MADD and, in return, MADD would acknowledge my donation.
Not only have I not received a notification from MADD but the magazine arrives every other week. PEOPLE is published weekly. I have called customer service at DialAmerica only to be told "the mailman must be taking those copies."
I have also approached MADD about my "donation" but have received no acknowledgement from them.
First of all I'm on DO NOT CALL LIST, second they asked if I'd like to renew my PC Gamer mag for three years...I said no way I'm in foreclosure now so I'm not doing well with money. The individual said he was sorry and hung up. 4 days later I have this bill for $64.95 for 3 years renewal. They have no phone number to call only a spammy website to go nowhere in. I am reporting to FTC.
