Ordered free trial. Received a new order more than a month later. Packing slip did not show account number or cost. Two separate numbers within packing. Called customer service number placed on hold, never came back. Called the order number and asked the cost of the products mailed to me. They asked for an account number, I didn't have one to give them, she(foreign accent) searched my telephone number, did not find an account, searched my name and address and found my account, I had to ask her three different times to give me the account number. I asked if they billed a credit card and then asked which card. I asked the amount, over $90.00. (for less than 2 oz. ) INSANE I told her I was returning the product for a full refund and wanted the account cancelled. She insisted on asking me where I applied the product and what were my goals. I again told her I did not open the product. She said she would extend the trial and call me back...I said no. Cancel the account I would return unopened product for a full refund. She used high pressure tactics to convince me to use the product. After 30 minutes, she said she would cancel the account and issue a $35.00 credit. I said no. Full refund, I am returning the product. Then it went to 50% refund, I said no, She placed me on hold 20 minutes. She was surprised I was still there. She said she would issue a $70.00 refund, I said no. I said make it a $80.00 refund and I would accept it. She placed me on hold again, Came back and agreed to $80.00 refund within 5 days. We'll see. BEWARE!!!!!!!
The promotion being used makes it appear that Dr Oz and Shape magazine are recommending this company's products when in fact the links change to different companys periodically. The 'free trial' costs about $90 if not canceled in time, this information should be included with the product shipment but the entire purpose of the promotion is to make it look like you will pay no more then $5 shipping. When the first automatic shipment arrived about a month later, I called customer service about getting a refund. I was told that I was being removed from the automatic shipment. Each time I asked about a refund I was told I was removed from receiving future shipments. I had to ask 4 times before I was given the information I was requesting. I was told to package the products up separately and wrap them better than they originally arrived in order to get a refund, there will also be a restocking fee. I certainly hope I get my refund of close to $200 but I am greatly concerned about it. I asked how I could log a complaint and also to speak to a supervisor and was refused. This kind of customer service and lack of good business practice makes me worry about getting a good resolution.
