The ad's says to try face cream the name is dermallure and skin essential they said I would pay $4.95 for both cream and if I like them and tell them and how it works well and then purchase a set. The did not tell about trail period , the ads did not say that and there was no fine print saying no of those things.all the ads say is for me to pay the $4.95 and nothing more. Now they took $199.92 they are a liar, a thief and crock. Please help me get back my money. I also change my account number so they cannot go back in there. Thank you.
They get you with the terms and conditions. Just look on the site dermallure.com) which are no where to be seen when you are signing up for your “free trial”.
It is actually: you pay $94 if you keep the "free trial" and don't send it back within the 14-day period. They also got me for a "$5" you can try a serum product too. So... I had to another $94 because i didn't send back the add-on. So most people could be out $188. Fine, expensive lesson learned. But….If you don't realize the charge is also a subscription, so you are charged the next month And receive the same trial samples) also. So that was another $188.
They also have many call centers you get directed to, with a no refund or no return policy. Even on unopened box). So no matter what you cannot get any money back for the products you never even knew you authorized payment for.
So i am very embarrassed to say, i made a $376 mistake at a time where i really needed my money. I just want other readers to not be enticed to “try the free trial” and make the same mistake too.
I thought i was buying 2 items online for just $10 to try and have been using it. I had no idea i was signing up for some program to use their product for months. I just got an online customer order # and a bill for some $97.00! i would never have signed up for anything like this, i'm 75 and on a fixed income and cannot afford a product like that, nor even need it. I'm calling them mon. Am, first thing, and refuse it...Then i'll call my credit card company to file a dispute for charges. Whatever it takes, i will not pay what i cannot afford. I did not see anything, when i ordered this, that said i was signing up for this scam.
The company uses a survey which you think is for amazon or some reputable company and then you get to choose from a list of trial options. If you select and agree to terms you will be billed close to $100 per item. Reputable businesses will openly tell you the cost up front. This one does not. Do not fall for this scam.
When I called they said they are not the only ones who sell the product so if I herd 4.95 on a commercial, that is not their problem. When I called for a refund the guy was an rude and the website he gave me to review the cancellation policy if for a Dr. in California, not to mention I can not locate the original site I ordered from
