I saw a Dr. OZ ad (probably ficticious) about Pure Derma Essence face cream. It said free samples, just pay for shipping. I paid the shipping charges for the trial samples. I was later billed on my credit card for four $89 bogus charges. US Bank Credit Card notified me of the fraud. I called the company to dispute the charges and just got a total run-around. I turned it back over to the credit card company attorneys. Also, the product did not work or do what it claimed it would. Poor product and fraudulent company.
I done a survey online, was suppose to get a FREE sample, paid shipping, then was charged 85.00 for a face cream, not a face cream out there worth85.00, i will send it back, i want a refund on my credit card.
I completed a survey and was told I woul receive age reducing eye cream and anti age cream for the low shipping price of $7.00. No other requirements to buy were indicated. Today I received another sample size/ replica of the same product received last month and an email stating my account was charged $89. I called my credit card company, disputed and had the charges reversed and the company blocked. During that call learned this was the second $89.00 charge from that company. Both have now been reversed and disputed. I will be calling Derma Essence tomorrow when they open and sending them back all this crap!!!! Bring on a suit if that is what they want!!!
I tried to report this to the BBB, but the BBB needed a street address for DerrmaEssence, which I could not find. A sneaky thing this company does, so you can't complain to the BBB!! So, I will report my complaint here.
I saw another complaint just like mine here, so I will have to say, this company is a RIP-OFF!
I ordered online a free sample of a face cream by DermaEssence. They sent me two products, I only ordered one. An anti-wrinkle cream and an eye serum. I did not use the product, I called the company and the lady said I had a week or so to try it, so call back when that time expired.
When I called back, I insisted on getting an RMA#, the guy kept postponing, saying "Yes, ma'am, I undestand but, let me give you a 25% discount on all future orders including this one."
I said "I want to return the product, I didn't use it, I know I won't use it. please give me an RMA#."
The guy said, "Yes, ma'am I understand, let me give you all of our products at a 50% discount."
I said, "No thank you, please give me an RMA#."
Then he told me that there would be a $17.50 restocking fee per item, each item had to have it's own separate RMA# and separate shipping, the RMA# had to be verified by higher up, and I had to call the company in 3 days to get these RMA#s. Then, I had to ship the items sparately, with the signature post card and the RMA# clearly marked on the package. THEN, I had to wait about a week and call the company again to report the tracking numbers with the RMA#s to get the credit, which would be minus the $17.50 restocking fee per item. Which means, for a product that I didn't even open, paying the restocking fee, the postage, and the time involved in calling the company, I would have to pay almost what I paid for the product at 50% off ($40.00 to $43.00 each)!!
If you paid full price ($80.00 to $85.00 per product), you REALLY got ripped off!

I used my credit card to get a free trial for a $4.95 shipping and handling fee. Three days later I had an $84.95 charge on my credit card.
