I signed up to the DLC Network (www.dlcnetwork.com) dealer license program and sent in my money on June 20th, 2014 and didn't receive my dealer license until August 21st, 2014. Which is two months after I signed up. Tim Sowell the owner of dlcnetwork told me it would only take a week to get me the dealer license but that was not true.
I live in Chicago IL and was told by Timothy Sowell that using a Alabama dealer license to buy and sell cars in IL would be perfectly legal.
Everything was working fine for a while, but recentally the Illinois DMV refuses to register any cars that were sold by a Alabama dealership to a Illinois resident.
A Illinois DMV inspector told me that I would get arrested and charged if I continued to sell cars in Illinois with a Alabama dealer license. I asked the DMV inspector what if I sold the car to a Illinois car dealer who then sells the car to my customer. He said he would arrest me and the Illinios car dealer for fraud..!
When I called Tim Sowell to tell him about all this he never returned my call. I have left many messages for him and still never a call back.
I am lucky all I got was a warning from the DMV inspector.
Stay away from DLCNetwork.com and Tim Sowell and Zolian Zoong Lwe do not use an Alabama dealer license.
