Dawson Electric specializes in shoddy workmanship, terrible customer service, inexcuseable contract administration and unsubstantiated post performance invoicing. Two years after completing my job, Dawson rendered an invoice for alleged extras to the tune of $33,000 though none were ever mentioned nor presented during construction. I as the owner, never made any changes to the original plans or contract. Not only did 7 different fresh out of electrical school "elctrician helpers" work on the project, the succession of emplyees led to mass confusion, enormous material waste and shoddy incompetent work that had to be redone to meet code on multiple occasions. As an illustration, a fan improperly installed, careened from a two story vaulted ceiling to the floor. Someone could have died from this incident, from Dawsons' incompetence. To cover for his diseasterous work, he rendered a ficticious bill hoping that he would get away with overtly ripping me off. What an incompetent scoundrel to perpetrate this overt ripoff, this is nothing less than a holdup, a theft, a criminal act of desperation by a desperate, dishonest and incompetent sorry excuse for a businessman.
Steer clear of this electrician, he will bill you for his mistakes, bill you for work not agreed to , bill you for work he didn't even perform. I am not the only one to experience his post performance billing, i have spoken to others with him, he has exhibited the same scurrulous contrived billing.
Do not use Dawson Electric, there are tons of honest, competent, forthright electricians in Annapolis. Dawson electric just isn't one of them. Steer clear of this thief.
