I requested services for my dryer that was not working, not spinning. The repair team came and my with little testing (turned my dryer to start) decided that my motor was going bad. They said that the part they needed was not in their inventory, so they had to order it, which is fine. After the left, I tried the dryer and it worked fine. And has been working since then. So, I called and cancelled the repair. Not needed. I got a very argumentative response from the repair man...that I would reconsider because that motor is bad and it could cause a fire and to not get it repaired would cost you as much as getting it repaired because I would have to pay for the part, the service fees, etc. I asked to speak to his manager, what is his name. The repair guy said Dave..(no last name). So, I called the service many times requesting a refund as I had no repairs. They were obliging and said, of course that a check would be in the mail. It took 3 weeks to get a check for 68 bucks. I paid 393 dollars upfront and I get 68 bucks? I paid for the motor return that cost as much as the motor? I paid for service charges that were not described in initial billing and then more for them showing up when I was not home (1.5 service charge). Nowhere in there initial itemized billing was any remark for NO REFUND and nothing about service charges. So, the terrible thing is..going to small claims court. Terrible customer service.
