I went on to dancruzinc.com because their deals on some of the best bats around were hard to pass up. On a quick google search of the website and any reviews didn't return anything positive or negative. The website seems legitimate, except for some broken sentences, so I went for it.
I went for a popular softball bat that I had been searching for in a specific size. It's called "The One" by Demarini. It averages about $300. I figured because of the rare size I wanted it in, it was cheaper. Listed at $139 USD. Turns out this site lists sizes that don't even exist.
I registered for the website, which is required to purchase anything or leave reviews. I ordered the bat. I then found out the bat I selected wasn't allowed in the league I play for, so I emailed the company about cancelling my order within hours of placing my order. Received no reply, confirmation, of tracking information.
figured I would wait for the bat to arrive and return it. It took about 3 weeks to arrive. When it did, it was wrapped in packing paper and wrapped in tape. That's it. No receipt, packing slip, or invoice. And at this point, haven't heard back from the company.
Upon opening, I was shocked to find a toy bat. Nothing like the high-end piece of equipment I ordered. A blue, metal, bat made of some sort of cheap metal. This wasn't any good than for maybe hitting some wads of paper. The bat is so generic it literally just says "baseball bat" on the side. It was enfuriating.
I tried getting my credit card company to stop the payment, but it was 3 weeks too late. They suggested I send that junk back, request a refund again, and wait 15 days. So far that's where I am at.
