They charge your credit card to pay for other people's phone calls and then u see it in your statement ... They steal Your identities . Fraud fraud fraud
Just had a charge of $28.75 showed up on my daughter's credit card... saying from CUBALLAMA TORONTO . I googled this and found this website with Fraud Reviews. I immediately contacted my bank, who stopped payment and cancelled the card. Not sure where they got my daughter's credit card number... it is definitely FRAUD.
My daughter's card also had a $28.75 charge and had to cancel the card. I'm concerned about how they got the info.
This to happened to me but instead of one charge I had 10 charges of 20- $40 on my statement. Had to call cancel and have a refund from Chase bank. They got hacked into if you really want to know the truth about why this has happened. Banks are just as much at risk as we are.
I didn't even hear of this cuballama thing till I checked my credit card transactions. There are two 20 dollars charges which I'm not aware of.
I just checked my checking account and had 2 charges just a few days apart of $20.00 each. I have NO idea what this "company" is or how they got my card number. I have contacted my bank and reported this as fraud. I also am having to go through the hassle of canceling my card and waiting for a new one!!!
I used my credit Card in their Website, and next, i had many charges of companies over the internet. Be careful, they will empty your bank accounts... SOB
The web site was terrible but has improved. I have ONLY ever uses PayPal. So I can't say I have been ripped off with fake charges. At first, I watched charges carefully buy almost never now. The call quality has always been poor. So consistantly poor I switched back to HablaCuba for my calls even though they are more expensive (still not perfect). When you get free SMS and Voice Messages, you can see the counter as you use them. Generally reliable but sometimes it seems that the SMS or Voice Messages arrive some time later. Normally timely enough. The chat tech support has at times been perfectly helpful and other times perfectly useless. There really aren't a lot of options out there, or I might be using someone else now. I also get an email of my charges, from PayPal and CubaLlama. And they have always matched, and almost always come in minutes from each other. So if someone had access to my CubaLlama account, I would have been getting 2 emails, back to back, telling me I had purchased something I didn't purchase. If you have been ripped off, it may be something else your doing. Of course, I have ONLY EVER USED PAYPAL.....so maybe the security of PayPal is protecting me from the lack of security elsewhere. It is VERY SUSPICIOUS that credit cards were abused.....ONLY FOR CUBALLAMA SERVICES.
As many of you, I been charged with $20.00 USD for this company.
I'm glad that I check my account often and discovered this.
Wells Fargo reversed the transaction and also block them to access to my account.

Nunca usen este servicio, te roba los minutos como cualquier otra tarjeta ladrona, te dicen que $0.50 pero desde que llamas te estan cobrando y el servicio de llamada es sobre la internet, quire decir no sirve pq cuba tiene un servicio muy malo de la internet. es una perdida de dinero.
Never use this service, you steal minutes as any other thief card, tell you $ 0.50 but since you call you are charging and service call is on the internet, quire say no good pq Cuba has a very bad service internet . It is a waste of money.
This is a supposed international calling service to call Cuba. Since the commencement of registering it has been problem after problem. The calls are pre-recorded to trick people into thinking that they are calling Cuba, they ROB many people who have families in Cuba and are desperate to speak with them. Cuballama is nothing but a disgrace to the Cuban people, they are doing the same thing that Fidel Castro does, ROB people of their money, dignity, rights! It is outright shameful & disgusting with this sorry excuse of a company is getting away with!! Someone needs to put an end to these Crooks! In my eyes they are criminals as all they are doing is taking advantage of people and robbing them!!
This transaction: CHECKCARD 0913 CUBALLAMA TORONTO ON x7307 is fraudulent in that the Cuballama has tricked me into using a service that i never agreed to use. They offered me free messaging and provided me with a phone number for free messaging, then out of the blues without notification they switched the service of that same number from messaging to live telephone service and charged me for the phone calls.
