I got the lovely reply from this company saying, "your device no longer has value to us do to market changes". No apologies whatsoever!
During the long period of just staying on hold and waiting for someone to answer my queries, I kept wondering if I would ever receive payment or get my phone back. Turns out, I wasn’t getting my phone back either way. Stay away from cashforberrys, it’s a total scam!!!
Hi, I’m having issues with cashforberrys. 1st week of December I sent them two samsung galaxy s3 phones one which was actually new. I had recieved quotes of 130 dollars for one and 80 dollars for the other. Approximately three week later, they sent me an email saying they are issuing a payment of 70 dollars for one and 45 dollars for the other . I promptly sent an email asking for explanation for such a big price difference than the quote i got and that I would like my phones back to which I got no reply. After patiently waiting for a reply for two weeks, I called them to ask for my phones to be returned. I got put on hold for 25 minutes, then the system hung up on me. I tried again for a couple of times, but had no success. Now going on week 7. No phones were received by me, nor have I received the money they offered to pay me. I feel like this is just outright theft.
