CPI was good to us as we were loyal customers for 5 years. One of the reasons we chose CPI is because they always advertised "free moving". We sell our house and are looking to move and what do we get? $400 moving fee and if we cancel our service $2,500 fee. This is absolutely absurd and shouldn't be tolerated by any company, much less a major company like CPI. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON BECAUSE IF YOU EVER IN YOUR LIFE INTEND ON MOVING, IT'S GOING TO COST YOU. We had intended on moving, having our equipment moved for free (as Directv is doing and any respectable company) and keeping CPI for as long as we lived, but now I will never use them again as well as try to convince anyone I come in contact with to do the same.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My family relocated out of the area and the company is mandating that we pay for the ADDITIONAL 31 months of the contract. Due to the poor customer reviews, the new homeowner declined using CPI. Now we have to foot the bill. BEWARE! They are more concerned about getting your money and locking in a contract as opposed to actually providing decent service. I expect this company will just go downhill from here... They could care less about how they are perceived.
