Purchased a Sophi Tolli bridal gown from this store, they obviously did not check it when they took delivery from their suppliers (Mon Cheri bridal) we were then told to collect the dress immediately as this was taking up valuable storage space in their store. My daughter-in-law rushed to the store during her lunch break, collected the dress in a hurry and left. The point is, there was lots of room in the store - this was all about the balance payment and nothing more.
She then opened the 'prom bag' not a bridal gown bag and discovered the dress in an appalling state as it was clear it had not been finished off at the factory in China! Which also means Mon Cheri obviously did not check it either before they took delivery of the dress. So effectiviely, the dress was finished in China, not checked for quality, sent to Mon Cheri, they didn't check it either, it was then sent to Cottonwood bridal, who also didn't check it when they took delivery, it was then passed on to us for nealry 2,000 dollars! It would seem the only people to actually check it was us! We then contacted the store and spoke with the owner (Gill) who said it was our fault and we should have checked it?? She then made some derrogatory comment about us being British and Britian in general, then slammed down the phone! I then contacted a Jason Lyons at Mon Cheri - asked for the details of his bosses - he never replied but did offer to patch the dress up in the back of the store!
I then placed a post on Sophia Tolli's Facebook page, who then removed our story and blocked me - that's how much she is concerned about dresses being churned out under her name in China! I have asked Mon Cheri for the contact details of the CEO Stephen Lang who has made several You Tube videos of he despises what he calls "knock off" shops in China copying his designs etc... Quite frankly, I'd have probably been better buying a so-called 'knock off' from China! No one has supplied Stephen Lang's contact details despite posting on their facebook page asking for them and putting up this post of our story.
Its like we have had our money stolen, and all these so-called professional outfits who claim quality and how they care is all lies! These people actually believe their own BS and propaganda!
