Recently moved from the housing on post. We were told if we paid for the days that ran into the new month our allotment would be stopped and we would recieve our BAH back, So we went ahead and fronted the 1/3 of our bah to cover the cost of the days to the termination date of our lease. As we did our finall walk through we were informent they would need some one to come and do a carpet assesment ( the living room in a heavy traffic area, and one spot in a room) and also that they would have to have some one come out and do a vinyl assesment due to a seam in the kitchen seperating. So we wated and 3 weeks after moving out and clearing we were informed that we would not be charged for carpet, but that Corvias in fact would not be stopping the allotment of BAH even though we had paid in full what we were responsible to cover. Corvias was still waiting on the vinyl assesment at that time. fast forward another almost 3 weeks, and a phone call made by me to them to see what in the world is going on and why we have not been contacted yet, come to find out they got the vinyl assement and chatged us for it out of the bah, i am then notified that a check was cut and mail today, the charges for vinyl were 150$ on top of that we were charged a 1/3 the bah again to cover the days we stayed in may that had already been paid for in April, there was also no statement or charged mailedo ut with the check for the left over bah, I informeed the lady that those days were paid in full already, i get placed on hold, fast foreward, they had tried to contact theiu accountant but could not, im informed they will call me back as soon as they get ahold of the accountant. Im not inclined ot believe this, it wasi n ourp paer work that we were paid in full rent wise and they do not return call promptly if at all. Why were we charged again for something that was clearly stated as paid in full 2 months ago in their records and why were we informend one thing only ot have this company turn around and do something different more than once, I will never live on post again and certainly will not reccomend that anyone i know do so either, this has been a nightmare and still is, Im assumiong if theu do get this issue figured out it will be another 3 weekes beforre they cut a check for the money that corvias wrongfully charged and took from us.
