The first letter arrived from "FLORIDA STATE COMPLIANCE" ; a week after incorporating my business. Threatening verbage, alluded to "official business" for the State of Florida. Mandating purchasing office posters or a $17,000.00 fine. Saw they were listed as a fraudulent con artists.
Second letter arrived a few days later: This came from "CFSOF INC, same thing, threatening fines if i did not purchase "federal/state" posters, giving the appearance of a govt agency.
I checked the internet, saw the fraud and scam alerts.
I checked www.sunbiz.org, for the state of Florida.

Corporate filing services scam. The company sends out miss leading letters. The letters are indicating that you must send $125 to have paperwork filed by law. Their letters indicate this is time sensitive and must be taken care of immediately. all of it is a lie. luckily, I research online before ever sending money to anyone. small business owners beware!!
Filled for my LLC, then recieved in my mailbox a letter from the FCFS posing as representation of the State of Florida and the Secretary of State. The letter has my business information and a notice/respond date. Then it states that my articles have been filed and there is one more step to recieve my "Certificate of Status". Below it list the fee price of 47.99 and the option to pay via credit card or check.
