I purchased services from Corpgate.com to prepare and file LLC formation paperwork with the Secretary of State, and to act as the Registered Agent service for my business. I was charged $174.00, which I paid electronically using my credit card. The funds were removed from my account the following business day.
After waiting for several weeks, I did not receive any further communication from Corpgate regarding the filing of my Statement of Formation paperwork, so I attempted to contact them to get a status of my order (888-492-2677). Each time I called the phone number, I received the same voice message that all representatives were currently busy assisting other callers, and I was instructed to leave a message and a representative would return my call. No one called me. I also attempted to communicate with Corpgate by email, using their form online. I received no communication.
I do not believe that the services I paid for will be rendered. I have lodged a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as well as mailed a certified, formal request for a full refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. I am most upset with myself for not taking more time to research before choosing them to file my LLC paperwork. This has cost me and my business valuable time and money. I now see that others have filed similar complaints regarding a lack of service.
