On May 24, 2006 I sent Ms. Corinne Pickett $300.00 for 50% of a $618.00 order for resale. She was to produce and ship the first part then I would pay for the second half which she would start on at that time. From May to October of 2006 I attempted to check on the order several times by email. She'd reply sayig she was workig on it.

Dear Ms. Corinne Pickett,
Kindly give me some merchandise for the $318.00 I sent you or return the money. At this point I'd rather have my money back. I understand that at the time I sent in my order you had a family problem. I was understanding of that, but you never followed up since that time. The money was sent to you in May, it's now October. As much as I adore your work I have lost faith in you. I have not heard one word about my money or my order in months. I think as a reputable business person the least you could have done was keep me posted on the progress/status of the order. If you can not fill it I would understand and would gladly take my money back. Please do the right thing and take care of this situation ASAP. My phone number was on the paperwork I sent you with the money order which you have already acknowledged receipt of. I will include my numbers here as well giving you no excuse not to contact me my email or by phone. I look forward to hearing from you and to resolving this problem.
Regards,
Caren
Finally by Novermber of 2006 it was clear to me she had no intention of filling the order and was going to keep my money. I sent the following email November 2006;
Corinne,
Please do the right thing and contact me to figure this problem out. I am not in the position to throw away money. I need to at the very least know what has happened to my order. You can call any time or write me. Just please address this issue.

Then another email in February 2006;
Corinne,
I sent you money in good faith because I believed in your work. It has become clear now that although you have talent as a accessory designer you have no integrity as a person. You stole money given to you for goods you never supplied. Shame on you!
Caren
this time she replied later that day;
Caren,
I'm so sorry about all this confusion!!! I am going to complete the order and send it to you within the next three weeks. I'm sorry for causing you stress and worry! I can only imagine, it wasn't my intention. I had a hard time getting over my Uncle's death this summer. I want you to rest assured that you will have your order and I want you to have faith. I'm back on my feet now and working hard to get business back up to speed.
Sincerely,
Corinne
This was the last I heard form Ms. Pickett, I never got my refun or my order and my following emails were never answered. Obviously I do not know what her intent was, but the eventual outcome speaks for itself.
Obviously after all these years there is no way I am goin gto recover my money, but I am placing this coplaint because I don't think she should get away without at least some public shaming, Shame on you for stealing Ms. Pickett.
I will have to go back to my records, but from my recollection, I fullfilled this order. All of these emails and responses are true. I have my paperwork saved and can go back and see if there are any mail confirmation receipts, but I fulfilled this order. I remember Caren after receiving the order wasn't happy with the quality. I sent her the necklaces with a higher quality thicker chain, rather than ball or thin base metal. Again, this was some years back and I was surprised to find this review and I think it was unnecessary and I'm sorry I disappointing you, so that you still held a resentment toward me.
I don't think its fair that people can make a complaint about you with no proof to their claims. I remember Carin and I also remember sending her the half order and her not being happy with the quality of the work. I had to make the necklaces with an alternate chain, which was a higher quality thicker chain. I apologized for the delay. I have two complaints toward me in my over 10 year career of making jewelry. People make mistakes and I'm sorry Carin, but I don't think its fair for you to accuse me of stealing when its not true. I might even have priority mail confirmation receipts to prove my case.

Wrongful Accusation
