I noticed that a rebuttal was filed by Teresa Andrion. She said she was sad that talent would attack her and her company, unwarranted, because their contract was not renewed. That is simply not true. Many agencies do not renew contracts and their talent have not filed against them because they were angry for being let go. I am very surprised there are not more filings of this nature against Core Talent.
She does not return emails, talent are not allowed to call or text her or her representatives. I know many talent who have not received residual checks. By the grace of God, sometimes we actually have been able to catch her not paying our residuals. In the past I experienced this situation; A client paid her in 30 days and she left all the talent hanging for payment for 6 months claiming she had not received payment. I could go on forever. I was told during my first time on set, with Core as my agency, that they do not pay, by a talent that left their agency for this reason. I know people talk and I do not believe what I hear unless I have proof. I have a great deal of proof now. Good talent leave this agency because of all the issues I have cited.
This is a warning t my fellow acting communtity. Be careful. Go to a franchised agency with a professional reputation.
