We "bought" a timeshare on Sept. 30th. 2013, from Coral Resorts for $10,000.00. We were shown a beautiful 3 bedroom unit at Coral Sands ( which was brand new ) and told that we would be getting a similar unit. WHAT A LIE. We are now stuck with a 200.00 a month payment and only enough points to stay a week every 3 years. We put $1,400.00 down at the time of purchase and paid $1,100.00 in maintenance fees. We were led to believe that we would be able to stay for 7500 points if we booked a unit within 90 days, good luck with that. We received 28,500 points at the time of purchase, but it takes at least 100,000 points to be able to use one of their units, BUT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THAT

We were also told that we could buy for two cents a point up to the number of points that we have in our account, NOT TRUE.
You can only buy up to one half of the points remaining in your account.
There were many more lies and untruths, but it would take me all day to name them all.
We are looking into one of the many class action lawsuit filed against Coral Resorts to see if we can be added as a plaintiff.

March 2014 when we attend a timeshare presentaion at coral reort,hilton head. It was Jennifer Green that became our sale person,We are misled by a sales pitch and signed a contract that didn't reflect what we were told. it was so frustrating and at the same time blood boiling situation when me and my husband found out that we got SCAMMED when we bought our timeshare with them. They told us that we can start using our vacation after 2 weeks, but weeks and weeks pass by and there is no membership number given. My husband called the coral resort office but nobody answers, he left mesages after messages but nobody return his calls. He then told me to make a research about them for he felt like we got scam! and guess what? his right!. I called the resort to talk to anybody to get this whole situation fixed because the last thing I want is file a lawsuit. Unfortunately just like what happen to my husband nobody answer my calls (I tried calling them 11 times to be exact) but when i press the line to pay maintenance fee a lady immediately answer the phone and from there I told her my issue and she give me to somebody I can talked to.I was on the phone with a lady named Leah(if I remember it right) for almost half an hour, but unfortunately all the things shes been telling me is opposite of what me and my husband had been told before buying the timeshare. Now we decided that we just want our money back and be out of this BS but the lady told me that we cannot get out of this and we just need to pay all the remaining balance and bill coming our way, and if we dont this will hit our credit score. Now as we are trying fix this whole situation with the company, nobody is willing to talked to us regarding this matter, and from there we decided to just take this whole matter legally. We are now getting a lawyer to file a lawsuit agains Coral Resort at Hilton Head Island , SC.
