Consumer Tax Relief has collected $3,849.95 from us to file taxes and to negotiate our taxes. As of this date March 15, 2015, Consumer Tax Relief has not fulfilled this service. After several months of trying to phone them and getting our bank involved, Consumer Tax Relief mailed to our bank copies of our IRS file, without our permission, and they submitted contracts to our bank with signatures that were not ours.
On 2/18/2015 Someone by the name of Todd Davis, called saying he is the owner of Consumer Tax Relief, and that they are working on getting us refunds because some of us "fell through the cracks." He informed me that Consumer Tax Relief no longer exists and that there is no new mailing address. They only was to make contact now is through him. He gave all kinds of excuses about servers being down, etc.. Although, as stated by Todd Davis, Consumer Tax Relief has not been in business for over a year, they continued to take our money and never informed us that they had ceased doing business. We have requested a full refund from Todd Davis a/k/a Consumer Tax Relief.
I paid this Compny 3000.00 2013 to help fix a tax issue. At first the people where nice and I faxed over all the paper work they need and also signed all kinds of POA, Bank statements, credit card information They seemed to working hard on my account with the IRS, Then all of a sudden their phoens do not work. I have not been able to get in touch with no one since Feb of 2014. Can anyone help resolve this craziness?
I contacted Consumer Tax Report (CTR) to file some returns thst I had not filed. At first they seemed like they were on the ball. I was put on a payment plan since I was not able to pay all at once. Once they got all the money that was due I was not able to reach any one on the phone or by fax. I checked with the IRS and found out they had not filed any of the returns. Then they kept taking money out of my account past the allowed amount.
I have not been able to get anyone to return my calls, faxes or emails. I dont know what to do at this point.
I had notice from the IRS that said they were going to start garnishing my pay, I didn't know what to do. I was listening to the radio and I heard about a company(Consumer Tax Relief) that was advertising that they could help people who owed money to the IRS. I gave them a call and they said they would help but I would have to pay $2000 first. I agreed and they started me on a payment plan, paying $250 every payday( 2 wks). But after I had made about 3 payments on my payment plan, Tha IRS started garnishing my pay. Thay were taking about 75% of my take home pay. Needless to say, I couldn't continue to pay Consumer Tax Relief and still pay my bills and feed my kids. I am a single dad and I still have 2 boys that still live at home with me. When Consumer Tax Relief called me and asked why I hadn't been making my payments, I told them the IRS had started garnishing my pay and I couldn't afford to make payments until the IRS was finished garnishing my pay.
I asked them what they had done on my case to help me with the IRS's garnishment of my pay. They said they couldn't help me until I finished with my payment plan. I told them I wouldn't be able to have any extra money until the IRS was done, by which time I would not need thier services anymore. Somehow they could not see the logic to that. So after the garnishment of my pay ended they started calling me again. I told them I didn't need thier services anymore, though they didn't do anything in the first place. But, they still say I still owe them the balance of the payment plan. How do I convince them that I don't owe them anything since they didn't do anything to help me?
I contacted consumer tax relief to help with my large irs bill. They collected $4000 and said they may even be able eliminate my debt completely. I had to scrimp monthly and they called and demanded to be paid on time or pay extra. When I would call to ask how my account was coming I was told nothing would happen until it was paid in full. After it was paid in full still nothing happened. They told me I would never have a lien put on because I was using them. This happened three times and when I called them they would say oh, your case fell thru the cracks. Now they are charging my bank acct $19.99 a month and now they don't answer my calls.

I contacted this company about 3 years ago for assistance with unfiled taxes and penalties.
They have continuously debited my account for funds while doing NOTHING.
Every few weeks I found that my account was being handled by another person so there was no progress just beginning all over everytime.
I had to call my bank to cease payments to them.
Over the last six months I only get voice mailboxes to leave messages but no one returns any of my calls!
