Or those of you in Nashville, I want to warn you about the products and customer service of Consumer Depot over by 100 Oaks. 13 days ago, i bought a coffee maker that I didn't realize was refurbished. That is until I opened the box and found pieces of the base the water decanter rests upon inside the decanter with the lid closed! This means the coffee maker that had broken pieces had just been repackaged and sold as refurbished. Their policy is items may be returned for credit within 14 days. When i took it back today I was told they cannot give credit because it was damaged. I said that is why I am returning it! To make a long story short, even though i told them the pieces from the bottom were inside the decanter, they refused. I said ""keep it"" and left the coffee maker and went to my bank and filed a dispute. The bank was helpful. What made the difference though was I used my check card as a master card rather than debit. There is extra protection when used like a credit card.
So, my suggestions...stay away from consumer depot and use your check card as a credit card to get the protection you need from the likes of Consumer Depot or other unethical businesses and scams.
