I received a letter in the mail about a book from Hamilton Publishing.
I oreded the book for $70.00 5 weeks ago and have not recieved anything. Tried to find thid company online with no luck. So I check the canceled check. On the back of the check was a stamp " For deposit only Communication Publishing" and a phone # 212-591-0289. I called this number and all I got was a recorded message about some books that I never heard of at alower price.
On Nov.5th, 2013 after what I receive a promotional letter from Communications Publishing , signed by Stephen Young regarding his book called ; $BILLION SOURCES WANT TO SEND YOU CASH, I did mailed him the "guaranteed money back" cupon with a check for $29.95, which was cashed two weeks later.
It's been more the a month since then and nothing shows up, so I became a bit suspicious about this "publisher" and found out that actually is an old ripoff scheme, unfortunatelly. This Stephen Young, maight be a fictitious name for this specific ripoff opperation, but using the United States Post Office as a venue for this opperation, it should be looked at by the federal authorities in New York City , as who is responsible for using their facility and the mailing service all over the country, should be tracked down and stoped.
I also recall, that a similar "Publisher" with a Wall Street address had a similar operation a few years back with a similar result, but this time I would like to get to the bottom of this if possible.
