I ordered a ""free"" sample of the Columbian Green Coffee Extract, paid 5.95 shipping, 10 days later I was charged $89.95on my credit card.
I contacted my bank who contacted the Sensibly Slim company in Provo, UT, and was told that in the original online order I had agreed to a 89.95 monthly membership, although I did not see that in anything when I ordered the ""free"" sample. They also said that I had a certain number of days to cancel my membership and since I didn't they had charged me the 89.95. One month later I was charged a second fee of $89.95 and was told this was a part of the ""auto-renewal"" that I had supposedly agreed to when I accepted the ""free"" trial. I told them I did not agree to any membership and did not authorize any charge of 89.95 to my card. They offered me a 50% refund, then they said they would process a 75% refund to my card and not charge anything else to my card. However, if I want a full refund, I would have to return the unopened shipment. The problem is that I have never received a second shipment for which I was charged a second charge 0f $89.95.
The entire time I was on the phone, I spoke to three different people, one of which was a supervisor, the would not stop talkng to listen to me. When I suggested that they should this information more clear on their website, the supervisor kept talking and said that they would get their attorneys onvolve and they have already had the attorneys review the website and that they are in compliance with all United States laws and federal regulations and that I could not do anything. I was only trying to make a suggestion to avoid this conflict for many other furture customers. I might add that none of these customer service agents spoke english very well. I thought this company was located in Provo, Utah. At 2;30 P.M. someone in Utah should have been available to take this call. To top it all off they told me that a supervisor is the highest person that could talk to.
This product, along with the Garcinia Cambogia Extract and the Colo Cleanse, both recommended by Dr. Oz, causes stomach bleeding, which is the reason I do not want this product. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy. I am still awaiting word from my bank.
