This company was chosen via my insurance company to repair some hail damage to my 2014 CLA 250 Mercedes Benz. I have only had this vehicle for less than 5 months that was delivered from Germany with 30+ miles on the car, first owner and driven by no one other than myself. I had good faith in my insurance company and was reassured that new parts would be used to repair the extensive hail damage. My vehicle had damage to my hood, trunk, roof, side doors and bumper and paneling.
Once I received my vehicle 2 weeks after it was in the shop I noticed before driving off from the progressive center I noted a safety warning on my dashboard stating safety functions limited check owners manual. I was not going to drive my car from the facility with safety functions not working. My car had to be taken to a Mercedes Dealership to be computed correctly because Collision Central messed up some wiring when they disassembled my vehicle. This took 2-3 days to repair.
So I picked my car up 5/19 from the progressive center in Lewisville thinking my car was back to it's original state. I was driving 5/21 and noticed a piece of my seatbelt adjuster on the passenger side was missing, so I thought it just needed adjusting, I attempted to move my seat belt adjuster and it's completely jammed with the bolts showing. My driver side is functioning well. I made it home and just decided to do a full inspection of the vehicle and to my surprise my vehicle parts had been assembled so unprofessionally. It all looked horrendous!!!
I'll give a break down. Every inch of my car has some problems that did not exist prior to me dropping my car off to the progressive center for collision central to repair my car. The front has an uneven bumper assembled where you can see the lens clamps on one side due to uneven assembling. It also has chipped painting on the front bumper. On my front headlights where they have sanded or primed around that area is old residue left on my bumper and the headlights.
Next I'll go to my emblem on my hood, you can tell it was taken off another vehicle or bumper and glued back after painting with residue still left around the emblem but that's not the worse part. They put an old discolored emblem on my new vehicle. The stripping under the hood is also misaligned. Now moving up to the windows my weather stripping is installed uneven. My door on the back passenger side has the stripping on uneven where it does not snap or connect to the hole in the door. On the roof of my car I had a damaged sensor on the left back side that was hanging off during the initial estimate, they just popped it back in loosely instead of replacing and fixing it.
Now on my trunk the luggage panel was repaired but the brackets that the top panel sits in is totally destroyed. On the left side one bracket was completely broken off and missing while the second one was not connected but still hanging on. It had old dried up glue that did not stick. Now what really tops this trunk off is they completely disregarded the fact that my screws were not reassembled to my trunk. It's the bottom part of the trunk that you can clearly see that it's suppose to be bolted for security purposes. Every issue that I have stated was agreed upon with the claim adjuster when I took my vehicle back to progressive to show my concerns of how my car was just thrown together by Collision Central Center of Lewisville.
