I recieved a letter in the mail from collection pros stated they were trying to collect a debt of $365.75. They stated that that I had ordered magazines from US weekly. I have never ordered any magazines and I have never even did the free trials for magazines. When I called the number to see what the deal was the lady was just trying to see how I was going to make a payment. I saw in the letter that the person I ordered the magazines from was levy9 consultant magazine or something like that and that's where I seen all the complaints and saw letters like mine that people had recieved. I sent a email to US weekely to make sure they didn't have anything on file for me. I hope this helps someone out there. This is US weekely email address [email protected]
I received a collection letter in the mail from Collect Pros stating I owed $332.50 for a magazine subscription to Entertainment Weekly. They state that they have an "audio" recording of me giving verbal authorization for this subscription. I have never given any type of "verbal" or "physical" authorization for this magazine.
I called Entertainment Weekly and spoke to a representative of the company. They advised me to email a copy of the letter to them, as they had filed a lawsuit against Collect Pros and needed copies from everyone receiving letters from them. It would be a good idea that ANYONE receiving a letter call the vendor listed under "Product" and let them know about the letter. More than likely, they are involved in a lawsuit against them as well.
I reported them to the BBB of Arkansas and Massachusetts and will be contacting an attorney that is willing to put up a big fight as well as the news stations in my area. These scams have got to stop. They need to pay, bounty fees are due. Legislation needs to change and we need to start shutting these frauds down.
$365.75 for a entertainment magazine? Must be an expensive magazine! They have to be scamming! Ill ignore it and if it shows up on my credit report Ill depute it there NOT ON THEIR WEBSITE!
Got a letter from Collection Pros about owing $79.95 if I pay now for Mango Cleanse. I have never ordered, recieved, or want this product. I have called the Mayor's office, the permit office, and the BBB in Carson City about this scam. No why to connect to the company. Please call the Better Business Bureau in Carson City, Nv. they want to know.
I received a letter of collection for mango cleanse. $79.99. I never ordered this and have never even read about this. Do not send me any more of these letters. I will not pay any money for something i did not order.
