On April 22, 2015 at approx 11:40 am I purchased a uniform set from Code 3 Tactical Supply. I had checked their website repeatedly to make sure the items I wanted to purchase via the internet were in stock and not on back order. Their website is setup so you can tell what is in stock quickly.

Well, wouldn't you know it. As soon as I finished my purchase, the items were listed as out of stock. Of course if you go to their website site now, it is listed as instock yet again. So I did some research on this company and found out, that this business may not even be at this address, as I found an address of 2107 Zeier Rd Madison WI 53704 that belong to the same business. Now this business claims to be all about customer service. and I quote: "What makes Code 3 Tactical Supply different? We’ve found the majority of law enforcement online retailers tend to fall into two categories. 1) Those operated out of someone’s home as a hobby business. Although some of these websites offer low priced gear and a fancy website, their drawbacks include no customer services, no inventory and horrible ordering policies. 2) We’ve found some of the larger stores that offer this type of gear, although one company, they operate several different websites. If you have a bad experience at one of their websites, there is a good chance you’ll find another one of their websites and unknowingly still be buying from the same company. Large online dealers have big warehouses, lots of 1-800 operators and the prices to match that service. You’ll find we try to keep our prices as low as possible and to top it off, you’ll find we have some of the best shipping rates and cancellation/return policy anywhere." It turns out this place uses a phone service as well.

On April 25, 2015 I called (608) 535-9984 (Message phone service through google) and left a message. The voice mail message pretty much makes it clear that he has no intentions of returning any phone calls. I called wanting to know why my products hadnt shipped yet.

On April 26, 2015 I sent an email asking "Whats the hold up? Your site said everything was in stock. What is taking so long to get my items shipped? Thanks for your time." Their response: I am sorry, we do not list active stock status on the website. Those items are currently out of stock here at the store and are estimated to be back in stock within 4-7 days.

That wasnt a good enough answer, which is why I am claiming false advertising against this crap company.

So on May 6, 2015 I emailed yet again: "

I'm following up to check on my order. Its been more then 7 days since you said it was on back order. Do you have an eta on when you will be able to ship my order?

Thank you" His response:

I am sorry, we are still waiting for the restocking order to come in from Tru-Spec. The last notification we received has all of our in stock backorders coming in by the end of next week.

So at this point I made up my mind that I would wait to see when I would ever get my products and then file a rip off report afterwards.

So on May 8, 2015 I get an email that tells me my items went to shipping and that in 2 days I would recieve a tracking number. Well I never got my tracking number and my uniform finally arrived as of Today.

I am advising people advoid this company like the plague unless you physicall go to the store(If one really does exist). I should have followed my gut and shopped somewhere else for my items. He refuses to post a real phone, and he refuses to return any phone calls. Do not trust his website as far as what is in stock.

Hello, please do not be tempted to purchase from Code3 Tactical. I am convinced they are somehow connected to terrorist organizations. Or at least want to harm the US economy and its citizens.

Before I purchased I did a search, it revealed several complaints and a couple of happy customers. Based on the happy customers I took the plunge.

Their method of operations is to allow you to purchase presumed in stock items only to tell you it is out of stock and they are waiting for overseas delivery. Problem is the item I most wanted and needed is made in the USA.

Most credit card companies allow for a 30 day window to lodge a complaint. Once I noticed that my items have not been shipped, nor was an email sent by Code3 Tactical to advise of a delay I wrote them a follow up email to enquire what was the hold up?

They said it was due to out of stock situation and gave me varying weeks of ETA for my items that would put me out 8-15 weeks. What was to be a total order of 5 items totaling $50+, turned out to be $25.00 for one item a Rothco small pouch Blk, $10 for the item and $15.00 for USPS shipping. I asked for a cancellation and refund to my CC.

The refund of $19.70 took over 5 months, they gipped me of my items and charged me an exorbitant amount of money for what I later purchased from Amazon (need 2 pouches) for $9.99 and free shipping.

A clue to their deceptiveness is when their supposed customer service code your emails a urgent and most urgent.

BBB should go Code 3 High on Code 3 Tactical

Wish I had read some reviews before using these clowns for some new gloves'...... when your on duty you need your gloves, and these clowns probably have never been in the field to know why they should be honorable'...What a Joke!

dont buy from them

ordered trying to get info to track order 2 weeks no info back send them to the better business bureau to make a complaint.Still waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Code 3 Tactical declined my credit card three times. Then another card was used and it was accepted. When I check my bank balance online it shows three charges for an item which was declined. Go to the bank to try to stop the charges and must wait. Contact the company website and had no address or telephone number. I used the "Contact Us" link several times. Suddenly, there is new information on the contact us page which was not there yesterday. Hoping this business has a brain and does not send us four items when we specifically ordered one item and paid for it four times. Since they have ignored my correspondence, I will spend time in the bank filing reports to stop this company from taking out almost $300. I am almost positive this company knows that its payment process is flawed, they receive a lot of extra money and if people are not sharp enough to follow thru and notice then they keep the money from over-charging. When I worked at a salon, their credit card machine did the same thing. The owner knew of this. Only one person came back to get refund. Many many others were double charged and did not take care of business. Cool trick Code 3 Tactical. Not everyone is a dumbazz.
