This company (Classmates, Inc) continues to charge my bank account a fee of $25 a year without my permission or notice to me. I didn't sign up for any kind of automatic withdrawl from my account. When I call their phone numnber that shows up on my billing statement 206-301-5900 all I get is an automatic system stating that no one is available to answer my call.
An unauthorized charge of $39.00 was charge on my Visa credit credit to Classmate, Inc. I never authorized any amount of money to Classmate, Inc. I tried calling the number I found on the Classmate.Com web page and get a message that I have called after hours. Since I live in North Carolina I am aware of the time difference between North Carolina and Seattle Washington and therefore place my call during their time of operations. I want Classmate, Inc to reimburse me my $39.00 or I will report this fraud to the Attorney General's office for the state of Washington.
Classmates.com does not allow you to adequately see yearbook photographs because it forces the pages into viewing 2-page spreads and the zoom levels are not near high enough. In addition, the images have not been scanned to a high resolution, making them very fuzzy. This makes seeing faces and details preltty much useless, especially when the photos are small to begin with. Complaints go unheeded.
I signed up for a 3 month membership with Classmates.com with the understanding that it would only be for the three months. Big surprise my account is still getting debited. I went on line and tried to cancel my service however, I have not had a response yet. I also disputed this charge at my bank.
Classmates.com/memorylane subscribed me to a three month half price trial without my knowledge or permission. I did not notice the debit on my card. Then they debited my account again three months later. I noticed that debit, called to complain and they refused to refund the money. Beware of this fraud.
Classmates, Inc. has fraudulently debited my checking account for $39 for a service I have neither signed up for nor wanted to have. I am assuming this is the website classmates.com. I do not know how they obtained my information, but I want to warn others to check their accounts for their activity. I saw another ripoff post from February where that person was charged $59. Debit card users beware!!
Like everyone else on this site, these dirtbags at classmates.com took 39.00 from my credit card without my authorization. They refused to credit me back. Their service is crap, and want nothing to do with it. I intend on contacting the State Attorney General, BBB, police department, and every scam and blog site on the net. I will make sure it costs them more than the 39 bucks they stole from me! It is amazing to me these assholes are allowed to continue operating. They need to be shut down. A class action lawsuit also needs to be pursued. How many other people have been a victim to these criminals? Please help!
