What a bunch of absolute scumbags! I received a totally bogus parking ticket for parking in a zone where a permit is required. The street where I parked had absolutely NO signage of any sort regarding parking. I took pictures of the location where my car was parked and presented it as evidence. However, the evidence was clearly disregarded and I was found liable. In old movies, the bad guys had the decency to wear black hats and masks. Unfortunately, you lack even basic decency.

West Hollywood Parking Enforcement is legalized thievery. Keep in mind that Wset Hollywood
is very congested and parking is impossible to begin with due to overdevelopment.
The parking signs seem to be deliberately confusing. I've lost count of the money I've
lost to them. I'm sure that I have paid thousands in tickets and tows. Feeding the meter does not
mean that you won't get a ticket, because there might be other goofy rules that you didn't notice.
In some areas they tow your car after a certain time for no apparent reason. One sign on Robertson
allows parking for two hours in the morning and then ticketing begins.
The point is that there are too many crazy rules. Some signage has five and six directives, so you need a doctorate to sift through it all.
I was ticketed one time as I had stopped to read the stupid sign! Honest truth, and the same thing happened to a friend of mine.
The parking officers are far too aggressive and rude. The people in the main office are also very rude.
It's all about taking your MONEY.
I'm not sure how the city can justify a "service" that is actually more like a punishment on the citizens.
