We had major flooding in our neighborhood as a result of heavy rain, but also because garbage containers were washed away and all the garbage emptied out into the water runoff. This then clogged all the drainage and created a health hazard. I called the City of Tempe to request that the drainage be cleaned out because children were playing in the water, and the water was not dissipating. Another issue I noted with them is the danger of an infestation of mosquitos.This has not been addressed and there has been no further communication from them, even though they took my contact information and promised to get back to me.
