I have worked for this City Limo 7436 Carver rd Gainsville va "Real address"for a good while, this was the worst job I've had in my life. My boss Shawn vasfi is a thief, when you give a deposit it's suppose to be a 25\50% hold on the money, he withdraws 100% of the money then and there to support his drug, alcohol and prostitute habits. The reason you all everyone has so many problems is because he list all the limos that the company own, in truth he own 1 "2003 H2 hummer" in which the ac don't work, 1 "2001 ford excursion" which is beat up. Most of the time when a nice limo picks you up it's a contractor which he pays half of what you paid him, I know he owes one contractor "Omar" $30,000 for prom season.He always over book jobs he will book one job in Richmond va at 9am to 1pm, then book your weeding in silver spring md at 2pm, "he know when he take the he not going to make it" he feels like once he has your money in his account it's his money rather the driver picks you up or not. That's why the car don't move unless you sign the imprint, "Once You Sign That Imprint You Will Never Get A Refund From Your Bank"!!!! He is not licensed to operate in Maryland Or Dc. If he screws you in Maryland contact the "Public Service Commission", or if you want to screw him. You will get a refund no questions asked because he's operating illegally. If he screws you in Dc contact the Attorney Generals office, and you will get a refund no questions asked. Prom season is a gold mind for these guys, this year he had $50,000 in reservations for prom by February, and it all was spent by March, so if he screws you, your money is already spent. The drivers really don't play a role in the scams it was a job to us, he does tell some of his drivers to make sure the light are on and drive a little crazy so he can collect the $500 puke fee. Please stay away from this company, bc of the way he book people I've jobs I have messed up 100's of weddings, sweet 15,sweet 16, funerals, parties and so on. He the cheapest company for a reason.
On May 9th 2014 day of my son's prom the limo driver went to the wrong location and not the pick up location which is my house, so that made him 15-20 minutes late. When the limo finally arrived in front of my house the limo driver(Mohammad aka: Moe) was not dressed as a professional limo driver, the limo itself was not new it was used and old.
Inside the limo was not cleaned out at all, it was dusty and very dirty, the controls in the back of the limo did not work for the four teenage passengers. One of the passengers was swatting gnats inside the limo. The limo driver was not professional and courteous, did not open the door for the for the passengers just stood there waiting for them to enter the limo. there was no professional customer service of any kind. Before leaving my house the driver informed me that since he was 15-20 minutes late that he would bring them back at 1:15 am. Because the limo contract was from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am.
On the way to the prom the driver arrived very early to the prom, so the four passengers asked Mohammad to take them to McDonalds, the driver gave them a serious attitude about that but he did so anyway and during that time the driver Mohammad to the four teenager passengers that he did not have his Limo Licences and he proceed to tell them if anything should happen tell them that I am your Uncle.. very unprofessional and the driver should not have been transporting teenagers to their prom without an Llimo Licences!
When the prom was ending one of the four passengers called Mohammad the limo driver to come and pick them up in front of the place of the prom. During that time they waited for about five to ten minutes for Mohammad the limo driver. After no response from Mohammad the four passengers had to walk to the limo. Once again unprofessional customer services.
The limo arrived back in front of my house around 12:15 or 12:20 am and the time that Mohammad informed me. I proceed to ask him about a discount since he did not come back the time that he told me in the first place. He proceeded to tell me that he has nothing to do about that. So the next day I proceeded to contact the limo company with no success, then I decided to email them, it took about two to three days to responed to my situation and they proceeded to tell me that they will handle the limo driver, but not address my situation that I paid for 6 hours and only recieved 5 hours.
The limo company told me about thier no refund policy, so I proceed to tell them that they breached their own contract by not providing me with 6 hours of services that I paid in full which was a total of $550.00 and not trying to give some type of refund for an hour lost of services. So when I did not back from the Limo company again about some ratification about not having my full 6 hours of services, I recieve the nastiness email response stating that you can do whatever you want there is a no refund policy. Once again unprofessional customer servcees. I was completley ripped off, and I believe nothing was done about the limo driver Mohammad.
This limo should not continue to be in business they are rude and unprofessional dealing with customers. Do not use this limo service at any time for anything. The pictures on there website showing the different types of vehicles that they offer are misleading and not what you are really paying for. Stay away from City Limo Rental at all times.
I found City Limo through Limos.com...they came thru with the most competitive price. I reached out to them, confirmed the price and made payment as agreed (days before the actual hire). I then attempted to call them to back just to reconfirm as I had not seen any kind of email confirmation of my payment. After multiple attempts, I was able to reach them and was told I was all set.
At the time of the scheduled pickup (scheduled at 5:30p), no limo showed up. No phone call, nothing. I called dispatch and was given the limo driver's name and number and told to call them directly (ridiculous). But I did..I called the driver who told me he was tied up with another fare and said ""I am sure they have assigned a different car and driver for you""...it is now 545p.
I called dispatch back, was put on hold and then was told that they could not get a limo or a driver to me until 700p!!! This completely screwed up our schedule, so we were all forced to drive (part of 12). As you can imagine, this put a major damper on our evening. Dispatch was generally ambivalent and acted like it was out of their hands.
To make matters worse, I had to stop payment with my credit card company as they did NOT refund my money as promised! These people should not be in business, they are completely unreliable and dishonest.
