My experience with Citiscape and the owner Alex Lotovsky was horrendous. What started out as a very pleasant experience turned into a nightmare of con's and scams, resulting in violations upon violations.
It would do justice if I were to just say my entire story as best as I can articulate it in writing.
I purchased a house in the Sheepshead Bay Area in Brooklyn, and needed to hire an architect to help me draw up new alteration plans.
Interviewing many architects in the area, I found Citiscape Consulting. During my interview with the owner, which is Alex Lotovsky, the experience was very pleasant. Their offices located on Ave Z are really presentable. Portfolio of "so-called projects" they worked on was impressive. I say so-called, because I later on found out that they didn't do ANY of those projects! Complete false advertising!!!
After I decided to go with Citiscape, Alex asked me to sign a financial agreement which stated exactly how much his services would cost. I was pleased with the amount and we started the project.
Once my home was completed, I later got an invoice from Citiscape stating that I owe more money since they need to do an amendment and changes to the plans which "they" drew! I couldn't understand why, and just paid. I was assured that it is the final payment.
A few weeks later, again I received and invoice which they requested more money from me. I started to get furious on this! I contacted their office and asked to speak with Alex Lotovsky. This time it was not possible to reach him. I always was told that I need to make an appointment with him and then always said he is not there. This was going on for weeks. Finally I got a call from him and he sort of threatened me. He said that I must pay a certain amount of money so he can finish the job plus he said there are 4 violations on my property. This was completely crazy! I asked why? And he just hung up on me!
This process went on for weeks until I was just forced to pay him and when he realized he could not scam me any more, then he just finished the job.
The experience was just terrible. Alex Lotovsky and Citiscape ripped me off for a lot of money. I urge you becareful when dealing with him and his
