When I was 18 I got my first loan from citadel. When I went to trade my car I'm some 2-3 yeas later citadel have me another loan since I always made my paymen on time and sometimes made extra payments. My second loan was great until I fell behind 3 months when thinga got tight. I moved to a new job and contacted to citadel to pay my late payments. I gave my debit/credit card information to the gentleman I was working with and every week I made a payment. Until he finally sent me an Email congratulations your all caught up on your back payments. From then on all my payments were made and I made extra payments. My payment was right around $350 and I typically payed $600 when I could. 6 months or so later I woke up got ready to drive to work and my car was gone? I called citadel to report my car stolen with them and they informed me that the car had been repossessed overnight. I could not believe what I was hearing. I had made all my payments and my next payment was not even due yet. When I asked what was due so I could pay it they told me they would have someone call me with the balance due. That should have sent up a red flag right there. I finally received a call back and to my surprise it was the same man I had worked with 6 months prior. He informed me that I had to pay the full balance of the loan which was over $14,000. When I asked why my car was taken and what I owed. He said it was for $150, which make no sense. I pulled up my last statement I got in the mail which had no late payments and showed my last 2 payment of $675 which is 4 payments in 2 months. My only conclusion was he messed up when I was working with him 6 months prior. I then called Wells Fargo to get a cash auto loan to buy the car from citadel. I was approved for the loan but when I call citadel they wouldn't let me buy the car back but yet they wanted $14k???? Citadel ruined my credit and took my car for paymenta I did not miss. Do not get a loan or bank with these scam artist.
