This guy has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. Our ADP rep recommended him, so we gave him a try. At first we were satisfied, but then after several months, we started getting over-inflated bills, duplicated charges for work that either wasn't done, or had already been paid, or was suppose to be part of his monthly fee. We then became aware of his CPA license having been previously suspended & that he was entangled in several civil lawsuits, and one criminal charge involving his profession. But, I believed everyone is entitled to second, third, & even 4th chances, so we continued with his acctg svcs. All I ever heard was, "I'll get it to you soon," or "You'll get it next week," and then "next week," and then "next week," and then when "next week" was worn out, it would change to "I'll get it to you 'soon' or 'ASAP'," It had become so frustrating & ridiculous. The only time we could get ANY kind of work out of him was when he needed money; and then he would appear in person and stand there and wait for me to cut him a check immediately! I also have discovered he has SEVERAL active judgments against him, some of which are very sizable. I could go on & on, but don't know if I could cover everything with a 1,000 character limit. Bottom line: Steer clear of this guy & do NOT give him a chance or you will be as sorry as we are.
I paid Rich $400 to prepare and file two old tax returns back in April. He called me for several days demanding payment to get the ball rolling after I first contacted him. And then there was nothing.
First he was "waiting for the IRS to get him some info" and then he kept pushing off results until next week. And then next week. And then next week. Several times he told me my returns would be ready "next week". 4 months later I still do not have any returns to file. He has done absolutely no work.
