I ordered a set of grips from Chiappa over the phone on June 10. They created a UPS shipping laber on June 12. As of today, July 16, no product has been shipped. The excuses have included "there is only one employee in the shipping department", "we are shorthanded", "we have some new employees", "we wrote down your credit card number incorrectly", "we will call you as soon as we have a status" (they never did), "we will take care of this immediately" (they did not), and "I promise it will ship in 3 to 5 business days" (it didn't). Stay away from Chiappa. Any company that is this incompetent in just shipping two pieces of wood can not be trusted to manufacture firearms. Read all the posts about firearms that do not function, and are not fixed by Chiappa. Their warranty is worthless considering they couldn't get it right the first time, so why would you think they could fix it after the fact? So far my firearm has functioned as it should. Should it fail, I will file my complaints with the BATFE and mail them the firearm, not Chiappa. Stay away from their products, and do not waste your time trying to order anything from their facility in Ohio. These clowns give all firearm manufacturers a bad name. They should be put out of business.
