Never buy a truck from these guys. I made that mistake and when anything went wrong with my truck (which SHOULD have been covered by warranty), there's always some excuse as to why they aren't going to fix it. Customer service is horrible, bait and switch tricks when they are selling you on the product, lies upon more lies.............here's my story.
In June 2014 I bought a 2013 Chevy Silverado from Watsonville chevrolet. After the exchange was finished I drove approxiamately 9 miles give or take and the "check motor" light went off. I took it back quickly, I turned around right then and there and was informed that the vehicle had been parked for a little bit and this is very normal behavior.
I was informed that it "should" go off after I had driven it for a couple of miles. The following day I got back to and requested my exchange back and let them know I was bringing the truck back on the grounds that I had a terrible feeling about this purchase.
Watsonville Chevrolet thieves toldme that they would investigate it and fix the issue and that I couldn't have my exchange back in light of the fact that it had as of now been taken to sell. In their words "at this point sir it's out of our hands". This was at 10 am the following day. I brought the truck back and it was in the shop for one week or less. I was without a vehicle for that week taking the bus to work. When I went to lift it up, I was taken once more into the shop and was told by the repairman that their indicative hardware had pinpointed the issue to the transmission and that they had disassembled it totally and had not discovered any metal shavings whick should be predictable with a defective transmission. He let me know that they didn't recognize what had created the issue however that it was settled.
The truck was come back to me and I drove just a few miles very lightly and the light returned on yet again! I felt like crap.... I couldn't take the truck back on the grounds that it was late and I knew the dealership was shut. The following day I got back to and speak with Melvin of Watsonville Chevrolet again again.
Melvin Cooper at Chevrolet of Watsonville, Watsonville Chevrolet at last talked me into acquiring it bac and let me know that they would put another transmission in it. Amid our warmed discussion, Melvin Cooper got up and said he had to leave. I told the assistant stepping in for the dirtbag that I'd rather speak with Mr. Cooper, the better business authority would be addressing him and he at last let me know that Mr. Cooper would address me when I brought the truck back. When I arrived at that point, obviously Mr. Cooper had left for the day.
I requested a guarantee because I thought it would make me feel better and he let me know that they couldn't offer a guarantee in light of the fact that they had effectively settled the vehicle once and that they had officially lost a bunch of money by me being their paying customer. He additionally educated me that I owed them $480 for work on the grounds that they were sufficiently decent to pay for the new transmission.
I demanded talking with Melvin Cooper and was informed that he would not like to converse with me. I can't get a hold of him, and it's been more than a year later. He's like a ghost yet he stills sells cars and doesn't give a ratts a*s about the customer after he has their money.
